I was approached in Vancouver today by this man, who tells me he’s a drag queen and a librarian who works with kids.
Fun conversation ensued.
1/
No, children do not need parent’s consent. The government made sure of that.
A B.C. father wouldn’t give consent for his 13-year-old girl to go on testosterone.
BC Children’s Hospital sent him a letter saying he could only be a ‘friend and advisor,’ citing the Infants Act.
2/
Okay, this should be obvious but it comes up all the time.
If you block puberty for all the years a child should be going through puberty, no, they won’t magically gain all those developmental years back when they come off the drug.
There is no time machine.
3/
Okay, we’re getting somewhere.
He doesn’t think it’s great to sterilize kids.
Hope springs eternal.
4/
Do you think it’s okay that 14 or 15 year olds are going into menopause?
That’s what puberty blockers do.

This happens every day. People say show me the evidence.
I pull up evidence on my website or other sites I use and then they’re not interested.
That’s okay. It’s a saving face mechanism on the hostile person’s part, but seeds of doubt have been planted.
6/
He’s trying to tell me I’m gay again. I’ll take it as a compliment.
FYI, Damian Jewett of the PPC was with me. We had just met up to have a conversation (it’s what I do) and I’d given him a copy of Irreversible Damage, The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters.
7/
He’s “a drag queen who works with children to talk about queer identities.”
He’s also a librarian.
8/
So he’s fine with sterilization because it only happens after prolonged usage of these drugs and hormones.
Well guess what. Girls go on testosterone for life.
9/
I was going to show him the ‘no counselling, only drugs’ process from BC Children’s Hospital’s own website, but he bounced.
Delusions are more comfortable than reality.
I give him props for hanging in there, but he shouldn’t be around kids.

What a start to the day that was. I’d only been on the street for 20 seconds and hadn’t set up my body cam, which is why I filmed with my phone, but that worked out.
Later on I had an epic conversation with a young, woke, female school teacher. ❤️
I’ll upload that tomorrow.
I’m walking the 10km with my signs around the Vancouver Seawall tomorrow afternoon.
I have the eternally optimistic view that conversations cause good things to happen.
If you support my work and would like to donate, it is extremely helpful. ❤️
