Ronaldo is back. Back at Manchester United, Back being number 7, Back in front of the fans and surely back on the score sheet.

Newcastle have struggled defensively and I expect him to be start and be too much to handle.

Romelu Lukaku - @FPL_Swe

No Martinez or Buendia for Villa makes Lukaku a good differential captain for this week. 3 goals in 2 games for him over the international break.

Mohamed Salah - @FPL_Architect

If you don’t own Ronaldo, captaining Salah is a good move. Up against a very leaky Leeds defence, I would be surprised if he doesn’t score or assist.

Cristiano Ronaldo - @FPL_Salah

If he starts then he is the standout captain. 71% to score anytime and will surely be on pens too against a poor Newcastle.

Romelu Lukaku - @FplMode

Many will go with Ronaldo but I feel Lukaku will run riot against a Villa side that may be without Martinez. This Chelsea team will feed the big Belgian and he’ll gladly convert.

I really can't recommend anyone else this week. When picking my captain, I’m looking for someone with a very high ceiling - Ronaldo has exactly that. It largely depends whether Ole confirms anything in the presser so wait for that before deciding

Captaincy this GW is pretty straightforward for me Cristiano Ronaldo at old Trafford, Not just because of the hype but also him being a legendary goalscorer wherever whichever league he has played in against one of the worst defences in the league.
