I want to do this short thread on why the Sussman indictment is so important.
It is laying down the keystone that is placed to allow the other arches to connect, creating a window or door, while supporting the weight of the stones to be added later. #Sussmann #DurhamIndictment

That individual keystone may not look that important, it may even look merely decorative to the untrained eye.
But it is the essential engineering piece to build the entire wall, building or cathedral.

The investigations of Russian Collusion, Spygate, & whatever other names have been used are investigating some of the most complex crimes in history.
We were given a billion piece jigsaw puzzle with no idea what it looked like.
Worse, the people who made it, fed us false images!

For 5 years every media talking head & grifter gave us a daily barrage of false images so that we could not put the pieces together even if we tried. Almost every story on collusion & spygate was false, some innocently but many maliciously.
Everyone was putting it together wrong.

Rather than seeing the real picture, every person saw a different picture that was rarely more than a few pieces that they crammed together to fit the narrative that they had been sold.
As clues & facts came out, people misinterpreted them to fit them into their false image.

Over the past 5 years, the pieces of the puzzle & their connections have been slowly revealed through releases of evidence & testimony. But it was so much information that people cherry picked the pieces that fit, rather than disconnecting the connections they had already made.

Few would read the real reports & evidence that was released, just the spin put out about them. So few people changed their minds, because dissecting 400 page reports & connecting the dots through 10k pages of testimony & documents isn't easy. No one can know it all!

It also requires a very detail oriented mind combined with an ability to ignore your biases & what you thought you knew.
Not a skill that most journalists & talking head are good at. Nor are they motivated to do it because clicks & ratings are more important than truth.

So most people did not read it, did not have the background knowledge to put it into context, & were easily lead around by #FearPorn & #ComfortableLies.

Both sides were able to spend 5 years believing their own myths about Collusion & Spygate with opinions never changing.

The #SussmannIndictment changes everything.
Durham didn't try to explain how billions of pieces fit in a text no one would read, understand, or accept.

He gave us a snapshot of a 46 piece puzzle. Simple enough that your 5 year old son & your 80 year old grandma can do it!

Short & simple enough that even a reporter or media talking head can read it & understand it.

This doesn't just indict Sussmann, it indicts the legal profession & journalism. They will all read this & understand it.

It shows that a key piece of collusion, was absolutely fake.

Every lawyer knows what Sussmann & Elias did was completely unethical, anyone who defends this will destroy their credibility.
Talking heads will start saying this today, or tomorrow, or next week.
They will realize they were duped with the Alfa Bank story & how it happened.

Reporters will also see the corruption of those who published these stories. Not just gullibility but collusion with Perkins Coie & Fusion GPS to plant false stories. Detailed by emails, billing records, & simple connections.

The narrow focus is an advantage in getting them to accept the truth. It doesn't mean abandoning their whole view of the situation in one sweep. It allows them to gradually accept that in the Alfa Bank story, Trump was framed by Hillary's goons.
But they did it for a good reason!

But this case lays out a much bigger conspiracy.
This will be followed by future indictments.
Expect that Perkins Coie will either plead guilty or negotiate a deferred prosecution agreement admitting their guilt in framing Trump, violating campaign finance laws, & flipping.

Then other indictments & a report will come out on the dodgy dossier & other news stories planted in this same manner. Soon every reason for believing Trump colluded with the Russians will be gone other than blind faith in things they know are lies.

And it is not just the left that has to go through this process. The right is just as wrong about spygate & collusion as the left is.
They still haven't figured out that Comey & the FBI were never really investigating Trump. Though a handful of dirty FBI tried hard.

The indictment showed us a hint yesterday that these tech researchers were the ones spying on Trump. Using illicit access to as yet unspecified non-public information. Reporters will start to wonder what that is... We already puzzled it out years ago & they will now expose it!

Durham opened Pandora's Box yesterday. It will not be closed. And Dems can't just blame it on Trump & Barr because Biden & Garland will let it continue to cleanse their party of the corruption. Just as Trump did to the Republican Party.
