1:A year ago today-my life & career would be forever changed when I made the decision to speak out publicly as someone who served in the Trump White House. Taking on a vindictive man, his inner circle & Trumpism isn’t easy but choosing country over party matters most still today.
2:Over the past year, many of the atrocities & horrifying stories that happened during the Trump Admin. have surfaced. We need to remember that Trumpism is far from being defeated. It continues to pose a grave danger to our country & our democracy as exhibited esp on Jan 6.
3:Many of you remain committed to countering the ongoing lies, misinformation & efforts to undermine those who take a stand for the truth. As someone who came forward-I’m grateful for the support you’ve given me & others who’ve taken a stand. Thanks especially-@AccountableGOP.
4:From the heartbreaking loss & hurt we’ve endured during this Covid pandemic, to the rise of domestic extremism/hate/divisiveness/violence & direct attacks on our electoral process, these are the things that keep many of us up at night. The threats & intimidation are real…
5:GOP Trumpists & right wing echo chambers can threaten us, mock us & work to destroy us in exchange for power & gain—but they cannot defeat us if we continue to stand against them—together. We’re in this for the long haul. Democracy dies if we let it, but we won’t.
