Shri Ganesha, also known as Ganapati, Vinayaka & 108 More Names we will go more deeply into along with endless Epithets, is one of the Best-Known & HIGHLY Worshipped Deities in the Hindu/ Santana Dharma Tradition & ALL over the World for 1000s of Years from Japan to Afghanistan.

First & foremost, Ancient Romans & Greeks still & always have practiced the Santana Dharma Tradition. Ganesha, the God of New Beginnings, was known as Quenevadi & JANUS to the Romans where we get the month of JANUary. Uxmal to the Mayans, Kangiten in Japan, Bes in Ancient Egypt.

'Lord Ganapati! You are (Trimurti) Brahma, Vishnu, & Mahesa. You are Indra. You are 🔥 (Agni) & Air (Vāyu). You are the 🌞 (Sūrya) & 🌙 (Chandra). You are (Three Worlds) Bhuloka (🌎), Antariksha-Loka (Space), & Swargaloka (Heaven). You are OM. That is to say, You are ALL this'

Ganesha is identified with the Hindu mantra OM/ AUM/ AMEN. The term Oṃkārasvarūpa, Om is His Form, is an Epithet of Shri Ganesha, as he personifies the Primal Sound of ALL Creation. Ganesha has 32 Different Forms/ Incarnations & 108 Different Names, Copan in the Honduras.

Ganesha's Abode is Mount Kailash with his Parents, Lord Siva and Parvati, or in some Texts Ganeshloka. His Consorts are Buddhi (Intelligence), Siddhi (Attainment) & Riddhi (Prosperity). His Children are Shubha (Auspiciousness), Labha (Profit) & Santosh Mata (Satisfaction).

Shri Ganesha is venerated in Hinduism/ Santana Dharma but, also, in Jainism, Buddhism, Smarta & Ganapatya Tradition, where Ganesha is considered the Supreme Being. Ganesha appears in Mahayana Buddhism, not only in the form of the Vināyaka, but also as a Demon with the same name.

Ganesha is VighneSHVARA (Vighnaraja, Marathi Vighnaharta), the Lord of Obstacles, both of a Material & Spiritual Order. He is popularly worshipped as a remover of obstacles, though traditionally he also places obstacles in the path of those who need to be checked.

Ganesha is considered to be the Lord of Letters & Learning. Ganesha is a Sanskrit compound, joining the words Gana (gaṇa), meaning a 'Group, Multitude, or Categorical System' & Isha (īśa), meaning 'Lord or Master'. Some translate this to 'Lord of the Ganas' or 'Lord of Hosts'.

Of the eight incarnations of Ganesha described in the Mudgala Purana, Ganesha has various Mounts, he uses a mouse (shrew) in five of them, a lion in his incarnation as Vakratunda, a peacock in his incarnation as Vikata, & Shesha, the Divine 🐍, in his incarnation as Vighnaraja.

According to Kundalini yoga, Ganesha resides in the first chakra, called Muladhara (mūlādhāra). Mulameans "Original, main"; Adhara means "Base, Foundation". The Muladhara Chakra is the principle on which the manifestation or outward expansion of primordial Divine Force resides.

'You continually dwell in the sacral plexus at the base of the spine [Mūlādhāra Cakra].'  Thus, Ganesha has a PERMANENT Abode in EVERY being at the Muladhara (Root). Ganesha holds, supports & guides all other Chakras, thereby "governing the forces that propel the wheel of life

Though Ganesha is popularly held to be the son of Shiva & Parvati, the Puranic myths give different versions about his birth. In some he was created by Parvati, or by Shiva or created by Shiva & Parvati, in another he appeared mysteriously and was discovered by Shiva & Parvati.

Other Myths say Hr was born from the elephant headed goddess Malini after she drank Parvati's bath water that had been thrown in the river. His brother is, the god of war, Kartikeya, who is also called Skanda and Murugan. Regional differences dictate the order of their births.

Before the arrival of Islam, Afghanistan had close cultural ties with India, and the adoration of both Hindu and Buddhist deities was practised. Ganesha is worshipped by most Jains, for whom he appears to have taken over certain functions of the god of Wealth, Kubera.

Heramba, also known as Heramba Ganapati, is a five-headed iconographical form of the Hindu god Ganesha (Ganapati). This form is particularly popular in Nepal. This form is important in Tantric worship of Ganesha. He is one of the most popular of the thirty-two forms of Ganesha.

Shri Ganesha is an Ancient Deity, the Supreme Being in Some Traditions, a God & Demon in Others. He is Janus to the Romans, Bes to the Egyptians, Kangiten to the Japanese. He is Part of Each Being seated by the Coiled Serpent in the Muladhara/ Root Chakra waiting to be awoken.

Oṃ Shri Gaṇeśāya Namaḥ
Oṃ Gaṃ Gaṇapataye Namaḥ

Ganesha is the Personification of the Primal Sound of Creation. He is OM/ AUM. Ganesha (Ganapati) is found in nearly ALL Cultures, ALL Around the World.
