(1) How the 2019 US-funded & Western supported unrest in Hong Kong affected the city, & how the city recovered & bounced back to embark on a path to further economic & financial integration with the motherland, China #RaamWTF

(2) Huge impact on tourism, with visitor arrivals declining by 50.5% by 4Q2019

(3) Saboteurs stormed about 60 different buildings & facilities of the Hong Kong SAR Government, including the Central Government Offices & Police
Headquarters (PHQ) - while besieging the PHQ, saboteurs used mills barriers & sundries to block the entrance and exit gates....

(4) violent black-clad rioters severely trampled on Hong Kong’s rule of law, adopting extreme methods to obstruct major transportation hubs, harassing police & judicial officers by doxxing & bullied family
members of police officers

(5) some used various excuses to beautify or legitimise
rioters’ illegal acts, undermining economic and social order by such extreme acts as “shopping with you”
& “lunching with you” - rioters also threw petrol bombs & set fire outside the High Court & the Court of Final Appeal

(6) Before the onset of the black-clad violence, Hong Kong was among the safest cities in the world - during the unrest, violent acts unprecedentedly threatened the daily life of members of the public

(7) rioters hurled over 5,000 petrol bombs, 22,000 sq m of paving blocks of footpaths were removed for hurling at targets - 60 km of railings were dismantled (= a round-trip from Heathrow Airport to London city centre) - 740 traffic lights, 1 521 traffic bollards & 87 traffic

(8) signs were damaged - of the 93 MTR underground train stations & 68 light rail stations, over 90% were paralyzed by destruction, with numerous facilities repeatedly damaged

(9) rioters frequently attacked, doxxed, harassed & bullied citizens holding views different from theirs - the general public lived in fear & lost their freedom of speech and expression - yet the HK Police Force exercised restraint, with no death from enforcement actions

(10) US’ strategy of suppressing China caused serious disruption to Hong Kong - how the US regime & politicians supported black-clad violence

(11) US regime imposed blatantly unreasonable sanctions on officials of the Chinese Central Government and the Hong Kong SAR Government - US claim of “standing with HK people” is in fact “standing with rioters & local terrorists of HK”

(12) US regime took unreasonable unilateral actions
on differential treatment for Hong Kong in an attempt to damage HK's economy & stability

(13) US regime put pressure on multinational enterprises
operating in Hong Kong & maliciously spread rumours and slanders on HK’s business environment (with the help of Western media outlets)

(14) after over 10 months of social disturbance, the formulation & the implementation of the Hong Kong National Security Law & the principle of “patriots administering HK” have effectively restored
social stability & safeguarded the business environment in HK

(15) amendment and improvement of Hong Kong’s
electoral system enhance the effectiveness of governance, & the restoration of social order allows the HKSAR Govt to effectively implement epidemic prevention & control measures & revitalize the economy

(16) Since the implementation of the National Security Law, Hong Kong’s financial market has remained stable

(17) The average daily turnover of Hong Kong stocks was over HK$160 billion, nearly 70% higher than the level at the end of the unrest, & funds raised through initial public offerings in HK exceeded HK$500 billion, up 50% yoy

(18) Over the past two years, the US regime has attempted to undermine Hong Kong’s stability and restrain the development of our country & HK with a variety of destructive & disruptive acts, but HK's wide ranging institutional strengths remain intact, including –

(19) The no of business operations in Hong Kong with parent companies located outside HK exceeded 9,000 in 2020, largely unchanged from 2019; the occupancy rates of the two major I&T bases, HK Science Park & the Cyberport, remain high at around 90%9

(20) Hong Kong’s goods trade activities were unaffected by US sanctions- HK's int'l ranking as a trading economy rose to 6th place in 2020 & the value of HK’s total trade has rebounded- US's acts actually harmed or even sacrifice the interests of their own enterprises & investors

(21) according to the World Investment Report 2021
published by the UNCTAD, Hong Kong was ranked
third globally in terms of FDI inflows in 2020

(22) : Hong Kong’s latest international rankings/ratings
concerning the rule of law and judicial independence

(21) To sum up, local Hong Kong rioters & their overseas backers, US imperialist regime change plotters, the ill-intentioned lying anti-China Western media have all failed to ruin our city & our determination to be a part of China
