GW 7 Notes - Teams 📝

🔴 Man Utd - Another disappointing performance. For how long does Ole get to keep his job?

🔴💎 Liverpool/Man City - Superb game between 2 title contenders. You’ll find great FPL options in both teams, owning 6 players from these 2 teams isn’t a bad idea.

GW 7 Notes - Players 📝

🔴 Salah - 1 goal, 1 assist and 13 FPL points vs Man City. Maybe the best player in the world right now.

🐝 Mbeumo - Another goal and an impressive performance. Proving to be excellent value for money.

GW 8 Fixture to target:

💎 MCI vs BUR

Man City’s last four home games vs Burnley have all finished 5-0. In the last six home games, the goal difference is 27-1. It’s a perfect fixture for City and I can’t see them dropping points here.

GW 8 Player recommendation:

Heung Min Son has averaged 7 points per game this season, and with great fixtures coming up this is a good time to bring him in if you can afford him. Spurs’ fixtures look good all the way till GW 22, making Son a good long term pick as well.

GW 8 Player to avoid:

Marcos Alonso is currently owned by 25% of the FPL managers, but I wouldn’t even say that he’s Chelsea’s first choice left back. Ben Chilwell is back and I expect the duo to share minutes going forward, which makes Alonso a non-asset in my opinion.

GW 8 Worth consideration:

Most of the South Americans that travelled for the international break won’t be available for GW 8, which is something to keep in mind. This affects Raphinha, Alisson, Ederson, Jesus, Fabinho, Cavani Douglas Luiz and more.

GW 8 Top 10 Clean sheet probabilities:

🥇MCI: 60%
🥈CHE: 50%
🥈LIV: 50%
ARS: 44%
AVL: 38%
BHA: 38%
MUN: 33%
TOT: 31%
EVE: 29%
NOR: 27%

GW 8 Captaincy

1) Mohamed Salah - 💰12.7
Fixture: WAT (A)

Salah has scored 10 FPL points per game this season, incredible numbers. Facing Watford there really isn’t a reason to not captain him. Don’t worry about the early kickoff, Salah has 12 goals in his last 12 early games.

2) Kevin De Bruyne - 💰11.9
Fixture: BUR (H)

KDB is back fit, and when he’s fit he starts. Burnley at home is the perfect fixture for Man City. If I could afford owning De Bruyne I’d be extremely tempted to give him the armband too.

3) Romelu Lukaku - 💰11.7
Fixture: BRE (A)

Lukaku was very unlucky not to haul against Southampton in GW 7, recording an xGI of 1.22. Brentford are great but not very solid defensively, making Lukaku a good captaincy option.

GW 8 Captaincy - Differential

Heung Min Son - 💰10.1
Fixture: NEW (A)

Son has gone a bit under the radar this season with 5 goal involvements in 6 games. I expect Newcastle to push forward more than usual this GW given the support from the fans, leaving lots of space for Son.

GW 8 Differential picks:

1️⃣ Ferran Torres - 💰6.9
Owned by: 7.8%
Fixture: BUR (H)

2️⃣ Neal Maupay - 💰6.5
Owned by: 3.8%
Fixture: NOR (A)

3️⃣ Emile Smith Rowe - 💰5.4
Owned by: 5.6%
Fixture: CRY (H)

GW 8 Wildcard 📊

I’m playing my wildcard this GW and this is my currently preferred draft. It has 0.5m ITB.
