A thread regarding zero-fact type trolls that argue ambiguities to fool the weak minded on COVID (e.g., @GovStitt of Oklahoma).

Concentrating on only one such troll interaction right now, but may expand the thread later.

Here's the initial interaction, hope this thread helps.

So, here's a machine analysis of the attacking account from botsentinel.com.

Obviously, there is concern with @fishinthisweek, with a 61% rating.

But, I can tell very quickly what disinformation this account spreads by hitting the green button.

So, an analysis of top 10 phrases shows that @fishinthisweek concentrates on "natural immunity," instantly flagging him/her as a disinformation account.

Also a conspiracy theorist, based on "dog whistle" words highlighted.

Also speaks in abstract generalities, as circled.

Compare to an analysis of my account, which also illustrates WHY I engage.

Data-highlighted
Policy-circled

I also concentrated recent advocacy against the @gbdeclaration cult, which pushes "natural immunity" over vaccination, at the cost of mass death and (lifelong) injury.

So let's look at that initial engagement again by this troll @fishinthisweek.

We know he tries to spread disinformation touting natural immunity over vaccination, so he tries to cast doubt about vaccination.

Not with fact, but with unsupported argument.

Onto second interaction. I respond with fact from a easily Googled source showing deception in @fishinthisweek's initial assertion.

That vaccinated are hospitalized more than unvaccinated?!

Read it, SEVENTY times more likely to be hospitalized unvaccinated than recently vaxxed!

Undeterred by fact staring him/her in the face, it is time to combine disinformation with conspiracy, and with a smidge of "whataboutism."

Even though he was the one who came to MY post about steps Oklahoma should take to prevent a bad winter.

Let's break it down further.

Turning to @fishinthisweek disinformation first, even in much more vaccinated UK (and there being a smaller relative pool of unvaccinated), the vaccinated STILL are hospitalized much less than the unvaccinated.

cnbc.com/2021/10/22/4-c…

Next, let's turn to the "conspiracy theories" about the data.

"delusional to take the data...as objective truth"?
--Well, what else should I use? It's evidence. You use that in science.

"nothing is that far off"?
--It isn't, you just lied to make it seem that way (see above)

And as to the "whataboutism."

Clearly caught in a lie/mistake, @fishinthisweek deflects to the UK, even though he/she had jumped into an Oklahoma thread.

Why?

That is what zero-fact trolls do.

So third interaction, after I clarify with even MORE data, I get from @fishinthisweek a fact-free "waste my time tactic," the irrelevant question.

Knowing I am going to write this thread later, I bite, and provide even MORE data/information:

Onto the FOURTH. Still no fact. Still just unsupported allegation.

Just trying to help, right...

No, what @fishinthisweek wants to do is spread disinformation about "natural immunity" -- remember that initial analysis -- but I won't let him spread the gospel from that cult.

Also, note, that with many interactions, I am reinforcing my policy objectives, that is, immunity fades, you may need to renew it with a booster.

Which of course, was the point of my original post in the first place.

Now to interaction FIVE.

STILL not a single piece of data presented by @fishinthisweek.

Doubling down on disinformation (remember "jabbed" hospitalized a LOT less than "unjabbed") and sowing conspiracy/doubt ("big pharma...manipulate).

Finally, interactions 6, 7, AND 8.

6 was questioning me taking data at face value (have you looked at my name...)

7/8 Tripling down on disinformation (jabs don't work)
Obviously not familiar with my questioning of state data, aka, a troll.

"Agree with me"?
--I stated it first

So there it is, one of many troll trickles that make a deluge of disinformation out there. Maybe some more comment later, but that’s it for now.

And of course, there is an encore, but this is particularly funny.

Misquotes me.

Throws out the MSM canard (but the MSM linked to actual data)

Then an ad hominem.

And STILL no data.

AND @fishintheweek had REFUSED to provide contrary data earlier.

Of course @fishinthisweek is trapped ("netted", "hooked"?).

1) Provides "data" which is vaccine disinformation, and gets banned from the platform; or

2) Continues to be exposed as a liar about vaccines, and might still be banned from the platform.

There is no constitutional right to shout "fire" in a crowded theater, because it could kill people.

There is also no constitutional right to shout out disinformation about vaccine effectiveness, because it could kill people.
