Congressional map uploaded to House committee expected to review House GOP map. #ohio #redistricting
House Democrats say they saw this map at 10:42 a.m. and haven't had a chance to review.

Senate GOP expected to offer another map @ 1.
Oelslager says he doesn't know when the shape files will be available.
Those files are critical to analyzing the specific political leanings of these districts. But eye test it looks 13-2 or maybe 12-3.
Oelslager says the leans are 8 GOP, 5 competitive, 2 Democratic.
Rep. Scott Oelslager is deferring a lot of technical questions about these maps. Won't say if they unduly favor one party over the other. He didn't draw this map; House GOP staffer Blake Springhetti did.
And no, this congressional map isn't uploaded onto @davesredist as Ohio House and Senate maps were. The details are in the language of a substitute bill, which will take some time to parse.
The map is pretty on point population-wise. Recent court decisions have given a little wiggle room on "one person, one vote" but Ohio House GOP mapmaker isn't taking it.
Some @davesredist analysis: 9 safe GOP, 2 safe Dem, four lean GOP with 1st congressional district the most competitive.

Interesting to note: Rep. Brad Wenstrup's Columbia Tusculum would be in Rep. Steve Chabot's 1st district under this House GOP proposal.
And Rep. Joyce Beatty's downtown Columbus condo would be in GOP-friendly 15th congressional district.
