BREAKING: It is with a heavy heart that I release the following thread.

Tonight, I received video from the Colorado First Judicial District Attorney’s Office that shows the death of Arvada hero Johnny Hurley.

This thread shows death/violence. Viewer discretion advised.

The released version of this previously abridged angle shows Ronald Troyke murder officer Gordon Beesley from behind at 25 seconds in.

Johnny Hurley engages Ronald Troyke at 1 minute 25 seconds in, killing him.

Johnny goes to Troyke's body, and then off screen.

(CW: Violence)

The Colorado First Judicial District Attorney’s Office also provided a video showing Johnny's response to the mass shooter all the way from his time inside the Army Surplus store to him shooting the mass shooter through multiple angles.

(Warning: Violence/death)

The DA's office also provided a 15 minute video looking east onto Arvada Square from the west side.

Johnny shoots the mass shooter at 24 seconds into this clip, and he is shot by police (the round entered buttock, per autopsy) at 1:03.

(Warning: Violence/death)

I was also provided with bodycamera footage from two officers.

One is vertical. I do not know whether it was shot like that or cropped by the DA.

Radio dispatch says: "two suspects with guns, one handgun, one AR-15."

This would refer to hero Hurley and murderer Troyke.

The responding officer wielding a rifle approaches Johnny, who is seemingly cropped off screen by the DA.

He kicks what appears to be murderer Ronald Troyke's AR-15 away from Johnny.

It appears Johnny had taken the rifle from Troyke to this cover position before being shot.

The responding officers continue to check the area around Arvada Square, and detain an apparent witness.

They then clear Troyke's weapon.

The DA also delivered to me footage from a second responding officer with a bodycam, who arrives a few minutes after the other with a bodycam (these are the only two provided).

Johnny can be seen on a stretcher (blurred by DA) at 1:30.

The District Attorney also provided me with a 1000+ page discovery report.

I have placed a copy here, where the public can see it in its entirety.

All redactions etc by DA, obviously, not by me.

I have the full, 100+ minutes of footage delivered to me by the Colorado First Judicial District Attorney’s Office uploading here.

I have preemptively marked it 18+, so you will need to sign in to view it.

"Is that one of the suspects?"

"Maybe, or a Good Samaritan..."

Exchange by police officers a little over ten minutes after shooting of Johnny Hurley, indeed the "Good Samaritan" who killed the mass shooter.
