#Terminator Watch...... still crackling.....

the LONGEST low density stretch yet........ [latitude vs time - each slice is a daily histogram]... the naughty longitude seems to finally be fading.

from the longitude perspective - averaging over 10 degrees centered on the Sun's equator - the reduction that started in May [equating to the small, 5-10SFU] step in f10.7 - looks to finally be close to completing the 360 degree ring.... We watch and wait #Terminator

"f10.7" - the upward step in the monthly minimum (or rotational minimum) is clear. Post-terminator that minimum will be >90 SFU

for those "concerned" about #SunspotCycle25 amplitude - the #terminator taking place right now would yield a decently *above average* #SunspotCycle. The green vertical line shows you where it would sit relative to our fall 2020 initial estimate. [NB method under-predicts big SCs]
