If you’re looking for a country where you can easily get an admission, consider UK
If you’re looking for a country where you have better scholarship options, consider US
If you’re looking for a country where you have better chances of getting a foreign passport, consider Canada
If getting a scholarship is a big part of your study abroad plans, and getting one in Canada is looking elusive, you can work out a smart plan
Consider the US as a study destination, and work towards your Canadian Permanent Residence application from there.
That’s a smart plan.
In the UK, you will easily get an admission if you have your money. A low undergrad grade will also not be a barrier for Masters like in Canada.
And like the USA or any other country where you have a valid status, you can directly apply for Canadian permanent residence from UK.
Australia, US, UK, European (Norway, Germany, etc) & Asian countries, are worthy study destinations too
As long as you have a valid status in those countries, you can apply for Canadian permanent residence from there
And the processing times may even be faster & less cumbersome
The additional degree from those other countries will also increase your points for permanent residency in Canada (if you only have a BSc or less)
You also now have travel experience, better means of raising/showing POF, processing your transcript for credential assessment, etc.
You all already know I am Team Canada for LIFE!
But as we continue the next admission season for Fall Term 2022, the word for the season is "Spread your applications around"
Apply pressure everywhere, from UK to US to Europe to Asia...and map out other Canadian plans from there
One of the key difference is that those who come to Canada to study will experience Canadian winter before you 😂.
But my key message to you is to, however, consider other options as you work on your study in Canada plan
Consider multiple options & key into plenty opportunities
