Today, we have presented an Action Plan to boost the #SocialEconomy 🌱 and create #jobs.
The plan has 3 goals:
1⃣ Creating the right conditions
2⃣ Opening opportunities to start up and scale up
3⃣ Making sure the social economy is recognised

🌱 #SocialEconomy organisations put social & environmental purposes first, and:
🔴 offer solutions to key challenges in our societies
🔴 represent 2.8 million social economy entities in Europe
🔴 employ 13.6 million people
🔴 are 6.3 % of the work force

The Action Plan aims to make the #SocialEconomy more visible and improve the recognition of its work & potential.
As well as its contribution to 🤝 a fair and inclusive recovery, and 🌱 the #green and #digital transitions.

Enhanced support to the #SocialEconomy not only creates #jobs, but also allows organisations to increase their #social impact across the EU 🇪🇺
