FP/M+ chapter 11 is out in Japanese! Informal summary thread below:

The chapter begins with Jakurai taking a momentary breather at the end of a long day of work. Suddenly, his phone rings. The caller ID won't say who it is, so he answers it tentatively. To his surprise, the person on the other end of the line is Ichijiku. #hypspoiler

He asks what it is he can do for her. She says nothing, it's not for her, and passes the phone to someone else - Otome! After all the formalities, Otome tells him that this is too important to be discussed over the phone. They should meet in person. #hypspoiler

Jakurai asks if he is allowed to refuse. She says yes, of course, but she doesn't recommend that. After all, doesn't he want to save Yotsutsuji? Jakurai sits there, stunned. She takes his silence as agreement and gives him a time and place to meet. #hypspoiler

Jakurai thinks to himself that medical science has no explanation for Yotsutsuji's condition. If there is a chance that Yotsutsuji will wake up, Jakurai simply must take it.

Later that night, Jakurai enters the DRB stadium and finds Otome, Ichijiku - #hypspoiler

- and a few other Party women waiting for him. Jakurai wastes no time asking what Otome wants, so she jumps straight to the point by snapping her fingers. A man dressed in a prisoner's uniform is brought out in chains. It's Mozuku, the former Ikebukuro crime lord. #hypspoiler

He was arrested in the domestic terrorist attack on the Sunset Building in TDD chapter 7. Ichijiku (? I think) says he's going to be their guinea pig and brings in one more unexpected guest - Ramuda. Jakurai gasps and asks what Ramuda is doing here. #hypspoiler

Ramuda giggles and pulls out his mic. He raps at Mozuku who screams and collapses to the ground. Jakurai rushes to check on him. Mozuku's breathing, but he appears to be... asleep...? Otome explains that this wasn't Ramuda's usual mic. #hypspoiler

It's a True Hypmic, which allows the user to control the user. However, it is so strong that the user... before she can finish her sentence, Ramuda jerks and collapses. Jakurai goes to check if he's all right, but when he places his hand on Ramuda's chest - #hypspoiler

- he realizes there's no pulse. Jakurai begins to administer CPR chest compressions. Otome tells him there's no point, and Jakurai yells back that there most certainly is. It's still possible to save him! Ramuda, hang in there! #hypspoiler

But just then, a familiar, high-pitched voice calls Jakurai's name from behind him. Alarmed, Jakurai spins around to see... a second Ramuda, alive and well. Otome explains that there's no point in trying to save the one on the ground, because there are always more. #hypspoiler

Not to mention that the Ramuda he's fussing over isn't even the one he knows. Jakurai remembers Ramuda yelling at him in TDD chapter 14 "What about being a human makes you so high and mighty?" and says that this confirms his suspicions. Ramuda is a clone. #hypspoiler

Otome now elaborates about the True Hypmic. It's not perfect yet since, as he saw, anyone who uses it dies. In order to perfect it, she needs Jakurai's help. Namely, she needs his healing Rap Ability. Once he does, Otome can finally bring about much-needed peace. #hypspoiler

Jakurai asks how come she didn't just try to brainwash him. She neglects to mention that she did try that but instead says that doing so would prevent him from using his Ability. Jakurai says that makes sense and then asks if this True Hypmic caused Yttj's coma. #hypspoiler

She confirms that it did and says that now he should see that his cooperation is directly connected to helping Yotsutsuji. Jakurai considers it but also considers what would happen if everyone was able to use the True Hypmic. He recalls Mozuku screaming in pain. #hypspoiler

Otome says she'll give him some time to think. As she turns to go, two of her aides take Ramuda's clone's corpse from Jakurai and begin to drag it away. He stays kneeling on the ground and after a long pause says that he will... #hypspoiler

... not answer, because he's actually outside, fishing with Matenrou, and Hifumi is yelling his name and telling him he has a bite. Jakurai jerks out of his reverie and hauls on the line, but the fish gets away. Jakurai explains that he was lost in thought. #hypspoiler

Doppo invites Jakurai to vent if something's bothering him. He and Hifumi will help if they can. Hifumi agrees, saying they'll be OODLES of help. Jakurai thanks them but says he's fine. So the three start fishing together as their first collective time off in ages. #hypspoiler

Doppo has some trouble baiting the hook, so Hifumi mocks him for it and then does it anyway in true best friend style. Jakurai smiles at their antics. Fishing ensues, with Jakurai and Hifumi being successful and Doppo... less so. But just then, his line jerks! #hypspoiler

In a breathtaking display of manly fishing prowess, Doppo hauls on the line and brings up... a... waterlogged boot. This is, naturally, the funniest shit Hifumi's ever seen in his life. This also means, naturally, that Doppo's a horrible failure and life sucks and - #hypspoiler

Jakurai interrupts the pity fest by telling him that the day is still young. He has more chances. There are, if you'll pardon my pun, more fish in the sea. Also, what are the chances of pulling a boot anyway? Hifumi rudely puts in that Doppo can keep his boots. #hypspoiler

He'd rather catch fish! Doppo goes to throttle Hifumi, as is his right as Hifumi's best friend, and in the process almost knocks them off the pier.

Later in the day, Hifumi asks Jakurai if he can ask about something. Jakurai says sure. #hypspoiler

Hifumi says that Jakurai never really explained what was up with Ramuda, and Hifumi's still curious. Doppo whacks him and tells him, yet again, to mind his own business. But, Hifumi insists, Jakurai always acts different whenever Ramuda comes up. Hasn't Doppo noticed? #hypspoiler

Okay, well, yes. Doppo has. But asking about such personal things is... rude... no matter how curious Doppo happens to be as well... Hifumi puts in that they're a team, for pete's sake, so there's no need for formality. But it's still RUDE, Hifumi - #hypspoiler

Jakurai interrupts and says that Hifumi's right. It's better for their teamwork if they don't stand on formality. Besides, he was thinking he'd like to talk to them about it someday. Jakurai says that he didn't always feel animosity towards Ramuda. #hypspoiler

In fact, Ramuda was the one who taught him to rap. Later, up through The Dirty Dawg days, they were even very close friends. Doppo asks if things went awry in TDD. Yes, Jakurai says, he and Ramuda had a falling out, as did Ichirou and Samatoki. #hypspoiler

Hifumi asks if it's because someone ate someone else's pudding that was left in the fridge. Doppo tells him to hush. Jakurai laughs and says he doesn't really know what happened with Samatoki and Ichirou. You never talked it out, Doppo asks? Nope. #hypspoiler

After a pause, Jakurai admits that at the time he was caring for a boy who lost his parents in an accident (Yotsutsuji). Doppo and Hifumi are shocked to hear this and ask where he is now. In the hospital, Jakurai says. Like as a doctor? No, a patient. #hypspoiler

He's in a coma. Doppo and Hifumi guess that Ramuda was the one who caused it. Jakurai asks them not to tell a soul. Hifumi doesn't understand why Jakurai would cover for someone who would do such a thing! Jakurai says he wants to resolve this himself. #hypspoiler

Also, he considers what happened to Yttj to be his own responsibility. Doppo asks what Ramuda even did, and Jakurai says he's not sure. Ramuda's been evasive about it. Well, that's awful, says Hifumi! Doppo, back him up! Doppo says it is awful, but... #hypspoiler

But what? Doppo says he's not trying to advocate for Ramuda or anything, but it just doesn't make sense. Why would Ramuda do that? Jakurai doesn't know, but he says that nevertheless, what Ramuda did is unforgiveable. #hypspoiler

Upon second thought, perhaps it's not that Jakurai can't forgive Ramuda. Perhaps he simply doesn't want to. Hifumi now hesitantly brings up that, for the longest time, there was someone he felt he couldn't forgive either. Even now, honestly, he still doesn't want to. #hypspoiler

But yet, he thinks that he wants to meet with her to get some closure. Jakurai asks why. Because Hifumi wants to know her side of the story. Maybe then he'll be able to forgive her for it. And maybe he won't. Yet either way, he'll be able to move on, right? #hypspoiler

Doppo says that he, personally, never wants to see her again. Jakurai asks if he knows her as well. Yeah, or at least they went to high school together. Hifumi now mentions that she's the girl who gave him his fear of women. #hypspoiler

Jakurai asks if Hifumi is sure, as meeting with someone who traumatized you is not an easy thing. Yeah, Hifumi says, he's finally ready for it. Jakurai smiles and says that Hifumi is very strong. Hifumi laughs it off and says that nah, he's pretty lame actually. #hypspoiler

But Doppo's still thinking about something from earlier. He can't wrap his head around why Ramuda, who was Jakurai's friend, would want to put Yotsutsuji in a coma. And so if he didn't necessarily want to, perhaps he was forced into it.... #hypspoiler

Hifumi asks what Doppo means, and Doppo admits that he doesn't really know, but he thinks that Jakurai and Ramuda need to have a talk for closure as well. Jakurai thinks that Doppo's right, even if Jakurai has been denying it all this time. #hypspoiler

He promises he'll have an honest, heart-to-heart talk with Ramuda if he gets the opportunity. He stares up at the sky and, after a long pause, admits, "... I suppose he also his circumstances that are hard for others to wrap their heads around." #hyspoiler

Doppo stands up and vows that he'll help Jakurai! Hifumi bounds up as well to say the same but in the process accidentally smacks Doppo who overbalances aaaaand... SPLOOSH! Doppo resurfaces, muttering about how he hates his life and his rotten luck and - #hypspoiler

Once Jakurai manages to coax Doppo out of the water, he gives Doppo and Hifumi a ride home. On his way back to his place, he decides to stop by the grocery store, but his phone rings before he makes it there. What he sees on the caller ID shocks him. It's Hitoya. #hypspoiler

Hitoya asks if Jakurai is free to meet him for a drink tonight. [Not a romantic connotation - that's a byproduct of English] Jakurai agrees, and after arranging the time and date, hangs up. Why is another figure from Jakurai's past appearing now? #hypspoiler

Back at the Hifudo household, Hifumi serves up dinner. It's a Burmese pork curry with a name I have NO idea how to spell in Latin letters (ဝက်သားဟင်). Doppo tries a bit of it and says it's great, but Hifumi slaps him for being so rude as to eat before thanking him. #hypspoiler

Doppo apologizes and finally performs the proper social niceties. After dinner, he thanks Hifumi once again and says it tasted great. Hifumi is pleased and says that means it was worth all the effort. He then brings up their conversation from earlier with Jakurai. #hypspoiler

Hifumi can't make heads or tails of what Ramuda was up to. Doppo points out that if Jakurai knew, he would have told them already. That's fair, Hifumi acknowledges. Doppo hesitates and then asks if Hifumi really does want to talk to you-know-who again. #hypspoiler

Of course, says Hifumi. Why would he lie about that? Doppo yells, "What, did you forget what she did?" and then looks as if he immediately regrets it. Hifumi says he can't possibly forget, but he wants to move on. So he needs to know why she did it. #hypspoiler

Doppo asks, "Even if she hurts you again?" "Yeah," he says. "I have to move on. At the very least, I can't go back." Doppo is quiet for a moment and then admits that yeah, this is a very Hifumi thing to do - to keep moving forward, no matter how hopeless it may be. #hypspoiler

That's how he managed to go from someone deathly afraid of girls to the number one host in Shinjuku. Oh, and speaking of hosts, Fragrance is calling Hifumi. He answers and finds that there's a commotion down at the club. Hifumi offers to help. #hypspoiler

Well, the club isn't sure that he can "help", per se... (In the background is the sound of someone wailing and someone else yelling, "Where're you guys hiding that Hifumi Izanami mofo?! Get his ass out here!") Concerned, Hifumi dons his jacket and starts leaving. #hypspoiler

Doppo stops him before he goes and says he's coming too. It sounds dangerous out there. Hifumi tries to protest, but Doppo won't take no for an answer. Hifumi thanks him, and the two head off. #hypspoiler

Meanwhile, Jakurai steps into a darkened bar and sees his old friend already seated there. Hitoya fixes Jakurai with a glare.

And whatever happens next will have to wait until January, because the chapter ends there. #hypspoiler
