🔥 Kaiser Permanente, the largest managed care organization in 🇺🇸, mandates DEI training for its CA employees. Kaiser calls race, sex, orientation... “internal dimensions of diversity,” attributes too many Asian accountants to unconscious bias, and urges equitable health care.🧵

2/ In the name of “Providing Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services in California,” the health care giant fashions itself also as a social scientist, who traces all health disparities to bias and racism. Paradoxically, all racial categories are arbitrary abstractions.

3/In an attempt to reform a leg-chopping, 🩸 caricature of equity, Kaiser provides this rendition. It doesn’t seem any less offensive, inaccurate, politicized or lame. Do you agree?

4/So, is Kaiser really the beacon of equity & justice? Let me remind you that Kaiser donated $1.5 mi. to restore racial preferences and discrimination in California's constitution last year. To put matters in perspective, our opposition campaign raised only $1.7 mi. in total.

5/What does Kaiser, along with its rich, woke comrades truly support? To strike these precious words from California's state constitution! But now, the institution cries for DEI to combat systemic barriers in health care?!

Folks, do we have "Hypocrite of the Year"? @cwtremo

6/The irony is not lost that Kaiser encourages a "Stop, Challenge, Choose" model to thought-police health care providers. For one, I don't want this for me. If I were to be pre-diabetic, I expect my doctor to tell me to quit Orange 🍗 & fried 🍚, rather than dance around equity.

7/ I want to encourage @aboutKP employees to come forward and share your thoughts about this mandatory training. Are you more culturally and linguistically enriched than before the training? More so than what a Rosetta Stone program can do? More professionally equipped?
