Under the benign gaze of Maratha fort photographer CM, mosques are being constructed inside fort after Maratha fort along with residential encroachments. Even Raigad and Vishalgad, which are pilgrimage sites for the devout Hindus, haven’t been spared.
Maratha CM has funds to beautify Dargah inside Vishalgad but none to make a decent memorial for veer Bajiprabhu whom lakhs of Hindus come to pay homage every year.
Virtually the entire hill of Malanggad has been captured with hundreds of encroachments by Voldemorts. A long standing site for conflict as Hindus refuse to relinquish their claim to the site.
Vandangad near Mahabaleshwar also facing the same problem. Attempt to rename it “Pir” Fort Vandangad was recently foiled by Hindu activists.
It’s one thing to take pictures of Maratha forts from the sky as a photographer and quite another to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands as a chief minister.
