1) Republican leaders who said and did nothing about the obvious, widespread, and historic bending of election rules nationwide—leaving Trump alone to speak about it—are ultimately to blame for J6.
2) There are only a few shocking aspects to J6: the first js that our own government tried to instigate and direct it and killed at least one, maybe two unarmed people.
3) The second shocking aspect is that even after setting the trap, so many people didn’t take the bait. They didn’t go burn the place down or get inside and commit acts of violence. They just walked around and some did silly stuff. They put the lie to the Ds claims about MAGA.
4) The third shocking aspect to J6 is that after helping shape the event, our government made an insane show of force & is still persecuting any of those involved they can (besides their own undercover agents) as political prisoners—and much of the Right is doing nothing about it
The rest of what is said out there is just noise and absurd babble from hypocrites engaged in projection or worse. J6 represents a new level in the fabricated reality that elites now live within. It’s an invented tool and cudgel for the sake of power.
