Ohio samples show an even higher frequency: 80-90% include the Spike R346K mutation.
60-70% of samples from Colorado include the Spike R346K mutation.
Samples from Mexico show the Spike R346K mutation at a similar frequency to the US: 40-60%.

For New York, BA.1 (Omicron) samples with the Spike R346K mutation were below 20% frequency up to 14 December.
The frequency appears to be growing since then, more recently as high as 48%.
