Truly demonic. Here's USA Today arguing that pedophilia shouldn't be seen as something that's a scarlet letter, especially if you're attracted to little kids but you *haven't* acted on your impulses.
You know where this is going, right?
If you molest children, more restorative justice types will argue the person doesn't necessarily deserve jail time, but rather "treatment" so they'll keep their hands to themselves...or something.
