Hunga-Tonga-Hunga-Ha'apai #volcano before/after the eruption. Sentinel-1 satellite (-20.48838, -175.28037)

Hunga-Tonga-Hunga-Ha'apai #volcano on the left, you can see the interference patterns on the waves from the tsunami impacts (another volcano on the right). The gob of stuff in the middle was not there before, maybe floating tephra or something else radar reflective.

No tracking details on these ships (premium satellite data) but there are a few fishing boats that got one heck of a wakeup call earlier. There's a few that were VERY close to the volcano. (60 miles away on open ocean).

Hunga Tonga/ Hunga Ha'api on 12/08/21 (pre-eruption) via Sentinel-2 #satellite

Waiting for the orders to process, but it appears the Pleiades satellite did a pass over Tonga. Lots of clouds/ash... but maybe can see something.

It doesn't tell you a lot, but there are some ships moving around near Tonga (12 hours later). The light blue "Tugs and Special Craft" moved out of port in Nuku'alofa (likely harbor patrol or similar).

Nomuka, Tonga (-20.25836, -174.7829) before/after the eruption on Sentinel-1 satellite, should be a similar satellite angle/reflection. You can see two bright reflections of buildings, but lack of reflection to the southeast -- unsure but I would guess tsunami damage or ash.

Tonumea (-20.45533, -174.74463) before/after. I don't believe this is normally inhabited, looks like the tsunami modified the shape of the island (at least per Sentinel-1 satellite). Very near the volcano.

Before/after the tsunami via Sentinel-1 satellite, Mango Island (-20.32166, -174.679). Archive satellite shows a settlement was on the north side.

Before/after Foifua Island, there is a town or settlement on the south facing side of this island (not radar reflective normally, likely natural materials not metal roof). Tonga. Sentinel-1 #satellite -20.27760, -174.61259
