LOVE HAS ALWAYS WON IN QC!
Last night, I stood as a witness to 222 LGBTQIA+ couples, who exchanged their heartfelt promises during the 🏳️🌈 Commitment Ceremony, spearheaded by the QC LGU.
It may just be a ceremonial event, but the sight of happy couples overflowing with love gave me hope. Higit sa kanilang gayak ang galak na walang kapantay!
I felt loved! Wala man akong jowa, handa akong “mag-Ninang” nang paulit-ulit para sa mga taong puno ng pag-ibig!
I stan this inclusive initiative led by gender advocate and LGBTQ+ ally, Mayor Joy Belmonte and the QC LGU. This Commitment Cermony is a huge step towards equality. But we will keep walking until the state legally recognizes ourcommitment and love will be recognized.
Hindi namin kailangang ikasal sa simbahan; ang kailangan namin: ang makilala at makita ng lahat na ang pag-ibig namin ay mabuti at hindi kasalanan. Because just like your love, our love is beautiful and meaningful. 💖🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
