A: I basically stuff myself with bao every morning and that keeps me full through 4 or 5 p.m.

A: I am cold all the time, except in my room. I’ve started shoving hand warmers under my beanie and in my boots.

Q: Is the scene more or less dystopian than Tokyo 2020, which was also held during the pandemic?

A: There are employees who walk around in full protective gear and it feels like something out of a movie. The big-air venue has caught some attention reut.rs/3gMs9ID

A: My favorite overall at #Beijing2022 has been the access to athletes - that’s probably the biggest surprise too.

A: I feel a little bit of camaraderie with the athletes in a way that maybe I didn’t before … like we’re all kind of in this 'new world' together.
