Ireland commends Ukraine's restraint and accuses Russia of a "flagrant violation of international law." We urge Russia to "reverse its recognition" of Donetsk and Luhansk.

UAE calls for restraint, avoidance of civilian casualties and return to the Minsk Agreements

Kenya offers the darkest and most poetic intervention so far: "We meet tonight on the brink of a major conflict. … diplomacy is failing … territorial integrity of Ukraine stands breached... Multilateralism lies on its deathbed tonight."

Ghana "deeply regrets" Russia turning its back on the Minsk Agreements, criticizes Moscow's recognition of Donetsk and Luhansk. Says it's not too late for diplomacy. "We may be on the precipice but we haven't fallen over."

Gabon says Russia’s moves are an "attack on the essential pillars” of international relations. Urges dialogue and diplomacy

Norway says Russia's actions constitute a clear violation of international law.” Urges Russia to return to the path of diplomacy

China says "all parties concerned must exercise restraint" and "seek reasonable solutions to each other’s concerns."

Russia blasts other nations as offering emotional arguments and overlooking the plight of those in the Donbas. "Most of you did not find any place for the nearly four million residents of Donbas." ... "Our western colleagues have been unashamedly cramming weapons into Ukraine."

Ukraine: "We are on our land, we are not afraid of anything or anyone, we owe nothing to anyone and we will not give away anything to anyone. There should be no doubt whatsoever."
