Never lowball your own salary expectations.
I increased my salary by 90% in the last 6 months by following the below negotiation strategies
1) Do proper market research (Glassdoor and LinkedIn are good places to start with)

2) Talk to different people on LinkedIn who are in similar roles in that company to understand better . 4 should be a good number to get an idea about the range.
3) Organize your thoughts and document proper plan of action before you negotiate (Write them in clear and concise bullet points)
4) Be confident and firm while you are negotiating
5) Ask for what you deserve
6) Stay Positive and don’t be pushy
7) Keep Negotiating and don’t be afraid to hear no
8) Most importantly don’t self reject!!!
