THREAD: Supporters of January 6 defendant Jake Lang (detained since arrest) gathered today for a small rally outside the DC federal courthouse.

Attorney Steven Metcalf II, representing Lang says people should consider "the violence these people were met with" from police.

Attorney Metcalf, repping J6 defendant Jake Lang, had witness Tommy Tatum sign a declaration that Lang saved his life during the events of January 6 when "met with sheer violence" by cops.

"Justification, as a defense, is something we are legally going to continue to challenge."

Ned Lang, father of Jacob Lang, said "most of the violence that happened on Capitol grounds that day was because of police brutality."

He believes GOP will take congress. "There will be criminal investigations and those that caused harm to our patriots will be held accountable."

"Cops were actually provoking protesters" @CaraCastronuova said she learned from witnesses to J6.

She says in particular of Jake Lang "I've never met someone so positive" as he has been, even locked up since his arrest ten days after January 6.

"I think that even if it's another president, that's not Donald Trump, they would consider possibly pardoning some of these guys," said @CaraCastronuova.

"Anyone with a heart, not just Donald Trump, would look at this and say these all prime candidates for being pardoned."

Ken Medenbach, who was acquitted for his role in the 2016 Oregon standoff with Ammon Bundy, shared a lesson learned.

He says J6 defendants could use a "state of mind" defense: Trump, commander-in-chief, told them to "fight like hell," ergo they are "not guilty" doing as told.

Here is my full, uncut video of today's rally for January 6 defendant Jacob Lang, which took place at the DC Courthouse right beside the United States Capitol.
