#omelites : i made ume at sept ‘20 so i got the gist of what i want on her as an om! character: a loanshark’s collector who well timed to be possessed by ifrit or a hell elemental (like less sentient and more essence of hell)

when i saw #omelites last year i already had an idea “ohh yeah ume would be on the wrath house” now it even compels me to do so. like Iraflora is particular with their prim image and being graceful without showing cracks and ume does the opposite of that. like all of it.

she sticks out like a sore thumb with the easy-to-taunt attitude. a magnet for trouble to the point that some of the house members would rather have her sticking to the sidelines. can you blame them though , when other houses like to point her out as a disgrace.

“the most beautiful roses have the sharpest thorns.” but thorns that are nothing but sharp are useless. ume knows this, but its difficult keeping up with grace under pressure, it is not who she is.

still, she wants to stay with the people whos effortlessly succeeding at it.

one time she thought that maybe people of Iraflora got their fangs dulled in keeping appearance in check. only to experience it firsthand when satan has to subdue her when she into trouble with a member of Fierodae. it ended not much worse than everyone expected, +

but the damage ume has done to their image is irreversible. lost her cool, destroyed public property, and now her prince is losing his composure with how she is punching back when shes already on the ground. a lot of damage control had to be done.

ofc it wasnt a surprise when news spread throughout the academy, diavolo reprimanding them and the other princes giving their sneer comments. it wasnt even satan who disciplines her when they get back at the dormitory,

leaving her at the lobby only to be greeted by meru whos waiting to give her a lecture and mayari who beats the prefect into it by slapping ume, the sharp sound unmistakably ringing across the empty room.

(i havent checked if caly had mayari’s attitude on this au would allow her to do that, but i believe if theres anyone else who would be so strict with reputations and rules, then its the houses’ flagbearers. also ume deserved that)

then yeah she gets an earful from both the prefect and the flagbearer. she may be an asshole but the consequences of her actions (public misbehavior and especially hurting her house head) made her feel guilty that she considered asking for a house transfer.

(is that even allowed idk, maybe mammon would accept her?) but then satan convinces her not to.

and if he sees a little bit of himself on her, the explosive and wanting to find a place for themselves part of him, he tells no one.

thats all for now haha i dont want to put her on a big position (proxy flagbearer or prefect) cause that means more work for me 😅 but i would like her to gravitate towards ocs like eira and moine, maybe even go on a panic cause she takes a liking on a certain prince.

but shes loyal to her house once she solves her predicament. she looks up to mayari as her role model.

im not yet sure but i want to have her mixed with supernatural (maybe a kumiho or a siren; beings who can actually lure people but are explosive once cornered) kind of vibe. like they keep an alluring facade but nasty when you piss them off.
