Today is #InternationalWomensDay. We are thinking of the women in Coffee Creek, Oregon's only women's prison.

65% of the women in a relationship at the time of arrest reported experiencing abuse in their relationship.

69% of the women said that trauma led to their involvement in the criminal justice system.

The average sentence length for women in Oregon in 2018 was 25 months.

44% of the women in a relationship at the time of arrest said that the relationship contributed to their conviction.
