The inner keep of the People's Castle — that is, where the King resides — begins with the throne room, though its purpose is more multi-faceted than that, as evidenced by the giant dining table that nearly stretches the entire length of the room.
This is known as the Dagda’s Feast, and it is open to all Unseelie citizens no matter their station or how far they’ve travelled. But how can the Unseelie sustain such a feast, let alone with the goal of feeding all who desire to attend it…? Well, as a matter of fact—
—the feast is enchanted by the room it resides in, as it is not entirely a room at all. According to legend, the dome-like structure was once one the Dagda’s cauldron, one of the four legendary treasures of the Tuatha Dé Danann—
—and as such, the feast is kept perpetually fresh and replenished so long as it resides in this room. Outside of it, though, the food will not keep for long… so better eat and drink your fill! This is one of the few places in Murias and Gorias where there’s plenty to go around.
Moving on, as you venture through the halls of the inner keep, you may be surprised to find that many of them are under construction or in disrepair: Windows without glass, damaged stonework, etc.
If you ask, the King will flatly tell you why this is so: The People’s Castle was the site of the final battle between the Seelie and Unseelie, and there were many damages sustained to the structure during that time.
As such, since most of the immediate reconstruction efforts were focused on the castle town and surrounding villages, many of the less frequently used quarters of castle were simply sealed off and forgotten about, at least until recently.
Ah, it seems the King has taken you to his private quarters... which, though cozy, is strangely subdued insofar as royal dwelling spaces are concerned.

It’s practical, with little sense of grandeur, and gives off the impression that this room could have belonged to just about anyone before it became Flannán’s. Still, it’s spacious and filled with his particulars—
—hunting trophies and gear, training equipment, a place to sit by the fire. Oddly, though, his room is missing something crucial: That is, a bed. Perhaps it’s in that side room, the one with… two locks and a bolt on the door?
...On second thought, perhaps some doors are best left closed for now!
