I almost always, read prefaces before picking a book, but this one time I hadn't. Thinking back now, I don't think it was a coincidence...
(5/12) #ImranKhan was due to be defined clearly to me, and anyone who reads it.
While expecting to read about an imaam or some miracle (like Yusuf Islam/Cat Stevens had) that made Kristiane Baker revert to Islam, it was our very own PM that she has credited to bring to light
(6/12) Not to forget, events are from a time when #ImranKhan was at peak of his non-political fame, and as I hear, a flamboyant man. Throughout the book, she has paid credit to IK for paving her path back to Islam, completely unintentional.
(8/12) She mentions of no preaching, nothing forced, nothing told without being asked. But when asked and told, is when, Baker says, were the most thought provoking and redefining answers she got about life and Islam
This is what defined #ImranKhan to me.
(9/12) At a time when he was figuring out life himself,he was clear of his religious foundations & believed in it without shadow of doubt
We Pakistanis hv witnessed how ALLAH blesses someone,shaped him gradually to become a better human
From wearing brands to becoming a brand

(12/12)From time I read "From MTV to Mecca" years ago,until now it has only become clear and more evident who & what this man on a mission #ImranKhan is. And I have no doubts!
I stand by him & pray for his success!
