Northrup thread starting here.
1. Christiane Northrup has successfully started a Christian cult in Maine. Mostly upper middle class, very monied, and extremely politically motivated. #mepolitics
2. Standing at the pulpit in a church, explaining to her followers that the Right is literally a spiritual path rooted in love as opposed to the Left rooted in fear.
3. "Now I'm going to tell you what to do every morning'. Giving her followers instruction on a morning prayer ritual unbinding all that isn't "goodly" inside of them.
4. She goes onto her "favorite part" of the prescribed morning ritual. "We have to become dangerous to the demonic- as dangerous as we can possibly be." Talks about taking the fight to Augusta and Janet Mills.
5. Northrup seems to believe herself to be the prophetess of a new American revolution.
6. In the Summer of 2021 Northrup's Maine Stands Up brought Arise USA to Belfast Maine featuring the headliner, Holocaust denier Robert David Steele who died of Covid 3 weeks later.
thedailybeast.com/inside-the-dis…
7. A notable quote from Steele at the event when he told the crowd that school boards are "walking around with a death sentence on their foreheads" and will have to answer to "gun packin' mammas".
8. After associating Mills with the demonic, Northrup says someone who works at the security won't let Mills stand near open windows at the Blaine House because they're afraid. She and the crowd think it's really funny. #mepolitics
9. Northrup goes into flat-out fascist rhetoric and describes their political enemies "they are not human and if you think they are that's part of the problem". #mepolitics
10. Finally Northrup drives the rhetoric home home by calling their spiritual enemies a "regressive species" followed by a huge round of applause.
11. A follower leads a prayer honoring Northrup and calling for armies of angels to help in the upcoming primaries.
12. Referring to those who Northrup deems unawakened to her great awakening. "They have no conscience- its a different species". Seems quite upset that she's been squeezed out of the celebrity jet set since her fall into obscurity.
13. At Maine Stand Up's cult HQ in a boho-chic barn, @EdForMaine says they're gonna "beat the government down" while surrounded by essential oil displays set up by micro-entrepreneurs. Does Ed also believe his political enemies are subhumans? #mepolitics
14. Among Northrup and MSU's acts of spiritual protest and revolution has been hosting a booze-cruise during the Covid mandates in Summer 2021 #mepolitics
15. Rich people problems combined with anti-immigrant rhetoric. While talking about her friend who owns multiple rentals in Owls Head, Northrup complains that Air B and B wants to "put in all these illegal immigrants into the Midcoast area".
16. Northrup's invocation of St. Germaine's violet flame is from the I Am teachings. The primary belief being in a spiritual hierarchy where its believers are ascended beings at the top while others are depraved beasts at the bottom.
17.
18. The Violet Fire Chant of St. Germaine.
In the name I AM that I AM
In the name I AM that I AM
Jesus Christ, Saint Germain
I decree...
I AM a being of violet fire
I AM the purity God desires (44X)

21. Violet Flame quote from Goddess's Never Age.
Also is believing oneself to be a goddess while condemning other humans as part of a "regressive species" the sign of a narcissist?
22. "In the 1930s, a group called the Mighty I AM swept upwards of a million Americans into its nationalist fervor under the banner of the "Ascended Master" Saint Germain."
23. I Am's American fascist roots are clear. "Pelley called for a "Christian Commonwealth" combining principles of racism, nationalism, and theocracy, while excluding Jews and non-whites."
wolfsonian.org/blog/2020/19/
24. Pelley's Silver Shirts were based on Hitler's Brown Shirts. "He claimed he would save America from Jewish communists just as "Mussolini and his Black Shirts saved Italy and as Hitler and his Brown Shirts saved Germany."
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_Le…
25. Northrup's invocation of the Violet Flame of St. Germaine has direct roots in American fascism. In combination with her current dehumanizing rhetoric about sending her enemies (a regressive species) to hell it seems that history is repeating itself.
26. "We gotta bring in the Violet flame of Saint Germain."

27. "I have people who come to the meetings who feel closer to me than my own family." Cult language at a recent event in the MSU barn. Northrup invited regional group leaders to come on stage and testify and encourage others to host meetings. #mepolitics
28. There are currently 18 regional MSU groups in Maine. One group leader claimed to have over 100 people in her group.
29. Northrup gushes about their pro event planner who used to do work for the Barbara Bush Children's hospital. Its clear that MSU is made up of wealthy, well-organized followers with a lot of time on their hands and lofty political aspirations. #mepolitics
30. Christiane Northrup devotee plays with her gun in the kitchen of her off-grid multi-acre homestead in Jackson, Maine. Maine Stands Up- shabby chic meets right-wing multilevel marketing.
#mepolitics
31. MSU members presenting LePage with a bogus document to sign at the Maine GOP convention.
mainestandsup.org/news/the-peopl… #mepolitics
32. Kennebunk group leader who claims to have been kicked out of many places during the pandemic- "we have about 120 people who come to our meetings."
33. "Where true health is and connection to the planet, to the soil, to each other is the right hemisphere."
The binary theme of Right being good and Left being evil pervades Northrup's rhetoric along with echos of Blood and Soil. ushmm.org/antisemitism/w…
34. MSU held a "country fair" Summer 2021 in Jackson Maine. Here a member presents a health workshop where she begins by telling people that breathing air is important.
35. "We know how to be 100% responsible for our own healthcare."
Interesting words in the era of Roe vs Wade being overturned.
36. Reading a very long mundane list of ailments that she's personally tended "successfully" treated with herbal medicine.
37. And here we have it- they think they're going to be leaders of humanity when everything collapses.
Still not convinced that Northrup has a cult?
"They're calling it a "Reset"- and it could be that we're the people here to lead the people..."
#mepolitics
38. The pandemic brought isolation and a loss of meaning to many people. Northrup suffered as well but instead embracing it with humility and grace, she deified herself as a prophetess of the "Great Awakening" where she's the judge of who is good or evil.
39. Describing mysterious political enemies in Maine as "cockroaches". Northrup is encouraging her growing flock to view those they don't agree with as less than human. There is no denying her own words. #mepolitics

Liz Caruso is Maine Stand Up's chosen candidate interviewed on News Center Maine today. First question about abortion. She's in favor of Roe vs. Wade being overturned and appears to be totally anti-choice. #mepolitics
Liz Caruso on the work ethic in Maine. "There's a lot of incentive for people to paid to stay home- we need to restore the Maine work ethic." #mepolitics
Concerning Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Liz Caruso says our national security threat isn't "the border of Russia." #mepolitics
Deflecting away from the Russia question, "Portland is suffering". And says we need to stop illegal immigrants from "making every single state a border state." #mepolitics
Questioned on housing in Maine Liz Caruso is totally incapable of answering the question and flubs her way through a word salad. "I think that a lot of the issues are here more domestically and... state should be taken care of by the state." #mepolitics
When asked about supporting local law enforcement. Caruso says "We need to stop the rioting in the streets and stop destruction to personal property." #mepolitics
This is predictably gross. Concerning the mass shooting inspired by Great Replacement rhetoric, Caruso says it was a mental health issue and "I don't believe we have a problem with white supremacists just because someone is white." #mepolitics
Finally Liz Caruso dodges the question about the legitimacy of the presidential election so the answer is, no. #mepolitics
Maine Stands Up and Liz Caruso. Remember, these people who don't think Mainers are working hard enough. #mepolitics
Maine Stand Up & Liz Caruso- the reactionary upper class wing of the Maine GOP. Devoted to Christiane Northrup and a revolving door of LARPing wannabe influencers with a lot of time and money. They're just getting started. #mepolitics
Christiane Northrup is speaking again this year at Mike Flynn's Rewaken Tour. #mepolitics
Mike Flynn is also a New Ager influenced by the I Am teachings.
Mike Flynn reciting a prayer from the I Am Teachings. Invoking legions of angels. Sound familiar?
Maine Stands Up and Maine First Project united in a war against public education. The wealthy don't want to pay for other people's kids to go to school & the false populists don't want an educated populace. #mepolitics
Northrup standing before her flock of the lost while awkwardly lip-synching to Christian soft rock. No doubt her "fall from grace" is cringe inducing. The question is, will this all fizzle out? Or will it evolve into something more?
