1. Christiane Northrup has successfully started a Christian cult in Maine. Mostly upper middle class, very monied, and extremely politically motivated. #mepolitics

2. Standing at the pulpit in a church, explaining to her followers that the Right is literally a spiritual path rooted in love as opposed to the Left rooted in fear.

3. "Now I'm going to tell you what to do every morning'. Giving her followers instruction on a morning prayer ritual unbinding all that isn't "goodly" inside of them.

4. She goes onto her "favorite part" of the prescribed morning ritual. "We have to become dangerous to the demonic- as dangerous as we can possibly be." Talks about taking the fight to Augusta and Janet Mills.

5. Northrup seems to believe herself to be the prophetess of a new American revolution.

6. In the Summer of 2021 Northrup's Maine Stands Up brought Arise USA to Belfast Maine featuring the headliner, Holocaust denier Robert David Steele who died of Covid 3 weeks later.

7. A notable quote from Steele at the event when he told the crowd that school boards are "walking around with a death sentence on their foreheads" and will have to answer to "gun packin' mammas".

8. After associating Mills with the demonic, Northrup says someone who works at the security won't let Mills stand near open windows at the Blaine House because they're afraid. She and the crowd think it's really funny. #mepolitics

9. Northrup goes into flat-out fascist rhetoric and describes their political enemies "they are not human and if you think they are that's part of the problem". #mepolitics

10. Finally Northrup drives the rhetoric home home by calling their spiritual enemies a "regressive species" followed by a huge round of applause.

11. A follower leads a prayer honoring Northrup and calling for armies of angels to help in the upcoming primaries.

12. Referring to those who Northrup deems unawakened to her great awakening. "They have no conscience- its a different species". Seems quite upset that she's been squeezed out of the celebrity jet set since her fall into obscurity.

15. Rich people problems combined with anti-immigrant rhetoric. While talking about her friend who owns multiple rentals in Owls Head, Northrup complains that Air B and B wants to "put in all these illegal immigrants into the Midcoast area".

16. Northrup's invocation of St. Germaine's violet flame is from the I Am teachings. The primary belief being in a spiritual hierarchy where its believers are ascended beings at the top while others are depraved beasts at the bottom.

38. The pandemic brought isolation and a loss of meaning to many people. Northrup suffered as well but instead embracing it with humility and grace, she deified herself as a prophetess of the "Great Awakening" where she's the judge of who is good or evil.

Liz Caruso is Maine Stand Up's chosen candidate interviewed on News Center Maine today. First question about abortion. She's in favor of Roe vs. Wade being overturned and appears to be totally anti-choice. #mepolitics
