The Future Role of Admiral Greenbull

#ONEPIECE

Greenbull is perhaps one of the most anticipated characters across the fanbase. Unlike characters such as Vegapunk, who only interests the few, Greenbull is almost unanimously being looked forward to.

This thread will pitch an idea for his potential reveal and future role.

Let's begin by trying to assess Greenbull's morals. For this, the colour coding is a big clue. Green is made by combining yellow & blue, implying that Greenbull's morals will be a mix of Aokiji's & Kizaru's ethics. Just as Fujitora's purple represents red + blue, Akainu & Aokiji.

Whereas Akainu follows 'absolute justice' & Aokiji follows 'lazy justice', Fujitora equates to the middle ground between the two with his 'blind justice'. In other words, let the dice decide.

This gives us a good idea of what Greenbull will be like. A mix of Aokiji & Kizaru.

We've seen already that Greenbull is quite lazy and nonchalant, seeming only to take things seriously when he needs to.

So what would make Greenbull get serious? What does his model of justice focus on?

As his name would suggest, Greenbull is likely quickly provoked to anger by particular things.

Most people will be aware of the association between bulls and being provoked by red flags in the cruel sport of bull fighting.

This is think leads us to his motivations.

There is only one group in One Piece with a noticeably red flag & that is the Revolutionary Army.

I quite strongly believe that Greenbull's background will include his country being taken over by the Revolutionaries & since then he has hated them.

We've already seen, or at least heard, that Greenbull fought with Fujitora against the Revolutionary Commmanders at Mariejois.

I believe that Greenbull would be currently pursuing those who ran away.

This would lead us in to the situation where Greenbull's reveal comes in to the main story & for him to become involved in events in Wano's aftermath.

Many believe already that Greenbull is coming to Wano, and I believe that will be the case.

It is important to remember, that the Revolutionaries were in Dressrosa to investigate the same weapons trafficking network for which Wano is the source. Back then, we saw Sabo pondering where the weapons could be coming from & we saw Dragon allude to 'Drunken Iron Ore'.

Many would argue that the Revolutionaries can't make this play on Wano, because Sabo is currently captured. However, I do not believe that Dragon would effectively launch his revolution early on account of Sabo.

I believe Dragon will send Koala to free Sabo, as she has memories of the escape tunnels made by Fisher Tiger, back when he freed her, Boa & many of the other slaves being held at Mariejois.

So if this is the case, Dragon will be free to priorities the completing of the task of dismantling the World Government's weapons trafficking scheme by preventing them from taking control of Wano.

This would lead to a very unexpected clash between Greenbull & Dragon!

I believe that they will fight in the aftermath of Wano in order to determine whether or not the weapons trafficking scheme is destroyed.

This would represent a huge victory for the RA.

His role won't stop with that defeat against Dragon though, it will only make Greenbull more inspired to fight Dragon's revolution.

When Dragon does finally raid Mariejois, Greenbull will be on the front line, ready for a rematch.

Greenbull may not get to fight Dragon directly again, as Dragon will have his sights on Akainu & Imu, but none of the others bar Sabo are likely capable of dealing with Greenbull, so I imagine he will be free to interrupt Dragon's fight with Akainu.

Greenbull will be the cause of Dragon's death!
