“Kya! It’s Pro Hero Dynamight & Pro Hero Deku!”

Katsuki groaned internally at the high-pitched squeals. He saw Deku stiffen in the corner of his eye before plastering his fake, pleasant smile.

Katsuki tried not to think about how it’s become the norm.

Both heroes turned to face the gaggle of giggling girls—their round, pink-cheeked faces bright with awestruck smiles.

“C-Can I get a picture with you two?” One of them said, her hands visibly shaking as she held up her cellphone.

Deku, ever the people-pleaser, nodded with too much enthusiasm. Katsuki rolled his eyes, giving the girl a gruff agreement. The young girl looked like she could pass out any second.

As Deku stepped to the side to give the girl some space to fit in between them, something happened.

It was all so quick that they had no time to react.

First, the girl—in her haste and nervousness—tripped over her own two feet. Then, Deku being the gentleman that he was tried to catch her before she feel. Katsuki saw the girl, her hands outstretched to them both, leapt into her rescue as well.

Next thing they knew a bright light flashed before their eyes. Katsuki had only captured a glimpse of the girl grabbing onto an arm until he was blinded by the flash.

As quickly as it happened, the flash of light disappeared.

Katsuki’s instincts as a Hero kickstarted him into action. He checked on the poor, crying girl, and then on his partner for any signs of harm.

The only thing that was damaged was the young girl’s self-esteem. She was apologizing profusely through her embarrassed sobs.

“Hey,” Deku whispered softly, kneeling down to her level, “It’s alright. You’re okay. It was an accident.”

The girl sniffled, nodding as her lips wobbled. Her friends surrounded her, cooing and soothing her.

“I-I’m so sorry,” she said, blinking away tears,

“I got too excited and I guess I lost control of my quirk.”

Both Deku and Katsuki inhaled sharply.

“What’s your quirk?” Katsuki barked, teeth clenched in annoyance.

He didn’t want to report this and have to spend a tedious amount of time in isolation until whatever the quirk was passed. He had plans for goodness sake!

Katsuki huffed, waiting for the girl to respond.

It should’ve been like any other day.

The blue sky was clear without a single dark cloud in sight, birds chirping along the path, and his beloved boyfriend by his side.

It should’ve been a good day. But then the girl shattered it with her words.

“I call it Energy Baby,” she explained, cheeks flushing as she glanced between the two heroes.

“It uses part of your energy and the energy of the person you last had sex with to create an actual baby.”

He couldn’t see Deku’s face, but he saw his shoulders hike up to his ears.

Deku stood up from his kneeled position, his back still facing Katsuki.
Then, his body began shaking. It was only due to years of practice that he was able to hear and decipher Deku’s mumbles.

“Baby… my baby… I have a baby…”

The blonde was at a loss for words.

For once in his life, he couldn’t say or do anything. On the outside, he probably appeared shaken up or shocked.

But inside he was a fiery storm of emotions and they all melded together to become one—guilt.

He was guilty because the baby that Deku was clearly happy about wasn’t his and Katsuki’s.

He was so stupid.

Unbelievably stupid.

He should’ve known his choices were going to come bite him in the ass one day.

He should’ve known better than to have cheated.

“Wh-Where’s the baby?” Deku asked, looking around the vicinity for their bundle of joy.

“The baby will appear in the last place you had sex.”

He faintly heard Deku thank the girl excitedly before taking off into the direction of their shared apartment. Katsuki blinked out of his stupor and started to chase after his green-haired lover.

“W-Wait! Deku!” He shouted after him.

Katsuki managed to stall him—their apartment only a few blocks away. Deku looked at Katsuki in confusion, tilting his head—reminding Katsuki of a puzzled puppy.

“What’s wrong Kacchan?” Deku asked, brows knitted, “Aren’t you happy that we’re going to have a baby?”

“Listen… there’s something I need to tell you—“

Suddenly, Izuku’s cellphone went off. Katsuki had no time to intervene when Deku answered the call. Deku greeted the person on the other end, humming and nodding.

With each passing minute, Deku’s smile grew wider and wider. It wasn’t long until Deku finally hung up.

“It was our apartment manger,” Deku told Katsuki, emerald-green eyes shining in the sunlight, “he said he heard crying in our apartment.”

“I-Izuku—“

Deku wasted no time in closing in on their home. Katsuki was right behind him, panicking and sweating more than usual. When he saw the old, balding man standing in front of their door, it was like Katsuki was staring at the grim reaper himself.

Because something was going to die today and he had no one else to blame but himself. It was all his fault.

“The neighbors reported excessive, loud crying coming from your unit,” the manager said, jiggling the master key,

“I went in to check and imagine my surprise when I saw two babies.”

“Babies?!” Deku gasped, eyes wide with shock. Katsuki gaped, heart thumping loudly in his chest.

Babies.

As in more than one.

Maybe… maybe there was hope after all.

The manager stepped aside to let the two into their apartment. Katsuki trailed after Deku, breathing rapidly. He clenched his fists to prevent the pooling sweat in his palms to activate.

Tears pricked in the corner of his eyes as he heard the babies cooing in their bedroom.

As fucked up as the situation was, he was glad that he at least had one thing to tie himself to his lover. The baby will be a sign of new beginnings. He knows the road ahead will be unforgiving and painful.

But this baby—THEIR baby—will make everything better.

Deku flung the door open and gasped. Katsuki followed him inside their bedroom, watching Deku crouch over the two babes on the floor.

Deku’s broad back obscured the view and Katsuki waited with baited breath to see his children.

He knows that one of them will have his and his partner’s blonde hair. Probably will don a black streak too.

But the other…

Katsuki hoped with all his might that his other baby would inherit Deku’s cute freckles and his green eyes.

Time moved slowly.

Deku picked up the two giggling babies and turned to Katsuki.

“Look Kacchan,” Deku whispered, voice void of any emotion, “Your baby.”

Just as he had imagined, in one arm, Deku held the product of his infidelity—a boy with golden-colored eyes with flecks of red and a head full of blonde spiky hair.

Katsuki gulped, his mind unable to process what Deku had said until he saw the other baby.

The baby that was supposed to be his and Deku’s.

Only it wasn’t.

His wish for an adorable child with freckles and Deku’s green eyes certainly came true. The only thing that shattered any hopes of the baby being his was the curly shock of white, snowy hair.

“Wh-What did you do?” Katsuki asked, taking a step back, and his lips curling to reveal his canines.

His heart felt like it was about to leap out of his chest and break into smithereens. His ears filled with white noise as he tried to comprehend what he was seeing.

“You didn’t think I wouldn’t find out, did you?” Deku smirked, approaching his lover—EX lover.

“I hope you and Denki are happy. I know Touya and I certainly will be.”
