Sqq found a way to off the system and Binghe grows up all the way on Qing Jing. It would all be perfect, if Sqq didn't get these awful belly aches lately, everytime he sees Binghe with one of his future wives.
It's understandable, of course. Binghe is his pure little Lotus (no matter how tall and muscular he's grown) and Sqq wants to keep his filial sheep for a bit longer before he leaves his old Shizun to start a harem.
If he calls for Binghe everytime he sees him talking with a girl or keeps him by his side a bit more than usual, then it's purely coincidental!
Anyway, Binghe doesn't seem unhappy. He's just as eager to be of help to his Shizun as always.
It's only, Binghe seems to talk more and more often with girls these days. Sqq expected this of course. But Binghe should really concentrate on cultivating first! Or at least search out girls that are good enough for him! But not get too close to them, that's improper!
*plays a montage of Sqq coming up with increasingly flimsy excuses why Binghe shouldn't experience romance yet while continously dragging him away from pretty people*
Binghe is having the time of his life btw. He's finally found the solution how to crack Sqq's shell.
How much worse can Binghe make it? Maybe one evening, while they're sitting together, Binghe 'coincidentally' shows Sqq a courting gift he got from a man.
Sqq: pfft what is he thinking, sending you that when you could have any woman you wanted?
Lbh: oh, i like men too.
This makes the whole thing so much worse. The danger now comes from the whole population instead of only half. Sqq now has to watch every conversation Lbh has with any man very carefully.
He also starts dreaming about it, he's so shocked. Lbh and men! Papapa'ing!
He can't stop thinking about it. And the worst thing is that the mystery suitor, who does he think he is??, keeps sending his Binghe gifts! How dare!
It all comes to a head when one day, Binghe actually wears the belt the suitor sent him. Sqq can't take his eyes off it all day.
At dinner, Sqq sets down his teacup.
"Is Binghe thinking of accepting then?"
Lbh looks up at him through his lashes. "I don't know. It's not like anyone else is offering and he's been so caring..."
Sqq is so enraged, he almost faints. Luo Binghe, settling for this unworthy idiot with his stupid, ugly gifts?? Binghe deserves better!! Someone who really cares for him, who appreciates him for who he is!
So he tells Binghe exactly that.
"Someone like Shizun?"
Sqq is flustered at first, but then Lbh offers to take off all the courting gifts he received and yes. Yes, he should do that.
Sqq feels strangely hot. It doesn't get better when Binghe kneels before him and starts asking him these weird questions.
Would Shizun like me to wear his gifts instead? Does he want me to stay by his side always? Maybe Shizun would like if I stopped people from flirting with me?
Of course the answer is yes. Sqq knows that. Binghe knows it too.
It's a surprisingly easy thing to kiss Binghe. It's for the best maybe, if Binghe stays with his old Shizun forever after all. Who else knows how to treat him just right?
Sqq draws the line at keeping Binghe on a dog leash though. At least in public.
