FP/M+ chapter 15 just released in Japanese! Summary thread below:

The chapter opens with Otome working in her office. Her phone rings, and she lets it go to voice mail. When she listens to it, much to her surprise, she finds it's from Dice. It's the same phone call from FP/M+ 14 - ie, he has the Yumeno manuscript and wants to meet. #hypspoiler

Later, Dice arrives at her office and immediately begins to rib her for her office's fancy decor and for getting old. She reminds him that he came on business, and so Dice gets serious and pulls out the file. He demands that the Party stop targeting Ramuda - #hypspoiler

- and hand over enough candies so that Ramuda's life won't be in danger. Otome says that even without the candies, Ramuda is doomed to die sooner or later. And is this really it? Is that "thing" the reason Dice has come to talk to h- Dice yells at her to shut up. #hypspoiler

He drops the file and snarls at her, far angrier than we've ever seen him, that Ramuda is NOT! A THING! He's Dice's beloved friend, and he will be treated as such! Otome stares him down calmly and then admits that she has no candy to spare even if she wants to. #hypspoiler

Well, then make more, dammit! But she can't. The Party doesn't know how. Dice tells her to quit fucking around. Otome ignores that and tells Dice's he's overlooked something. Shouldn't he also try to bid for his and Gentarou's innocence in the eyes of the law? #hypspoiler

Dice can't meet her eyes. Then he admits that yes, he does want that. He tosses the manuscript down on her desk and, as he turns to leave, tells her he doesn't intend to see her again. Otome looks downcast for a moment before she tells Dice that no matter - #hypspoiler

- how hard Fling Posse tries to save Ramuda, it isn't possible. This exercise, she says, is worthless. That makes Dice stop in his tracks and he says, "You wanna bet?" Now he turns to face her. He'll bet that it's possible! FP will find a way she doesn't know about! #hypspoiler

Then, thinking of Gentarou and Ramuda grinning at him, he rephrases that. Copying the phrase he's ready to repeat 1000 times, he says "We WILL find a way!" Otome is quiet before she finally says, "I hope you succeed." #hypspoiler

Dice then decides he has one more condition. He wants FP to be allowed to participate in the next DRB because - here he pictures following Ramuda into battle - "You know those same people you called 'worthless'? Well, you're about to watch us win." #hypspoiler

Otome grants this, and then Dice leaves for real, reminding her that she should boot the other Ramuda out of Empty Candy. Otome watches him leave as Dice once more refuses to meet her eyes. Once the door closes, she closes her eyes and sighs in fond sadness. #hypspoiler

Dice returns to the safe house and takes a minute to compose himself in the hall before snapping on a grin and announcing his triumphant return. Gentarou rushes to meet him and demands to know how it went with uncharacteristic concern in his voice. #hypspoiler

Fine, says Dice. Ramuda won't be targeted anymore, and now Gen + Dice are off the hook from Chuuouku. Gentarou looks relieved. Just then, Ramuda opens the screen door and comes in from the other room. Dice immediately perks up and cheerfully greets him. #hypspoiler

Ramuda asks if what Dice said was just true. You betcha! Thanks to Ramuda's ol' pals D + G, he's safe. No more need to worry! Ramuda is shocked and then begins to cry as he manages to force out a thank you. Gentarou tells him it's a bit too early for thanks - #hypspoiler

- as FP still needs to find a way to let him live longer. Ramuda thinks that isn't possib- Dice clamps a hand over his mouth and tells him to stfu. Bitch! Remember what Gentarou said about words having power? That's right, says Gentarou. #hypspoiler

He does a horrible Ramuda impression. "I pinky promise that I'll find a super-duper way to save my life! And if I say that, it must be true! Tee hee!" Ramuda says there's no reason to believe that. And? Look at Dice. Dice never has a reason to do ANYTHING. #hypspoiler

Nah, Dice insists, he totally does. That's called natural intuition, baby! Going in guns blazing, ass out, head empty is how he rolls!
Banter aside, Gentarou they need to go into Chuuouku to find a way to save Ramuda. But, Ramuda points out, he's no longer allowed in. #hypspoiler

FORTUNATELY, someone (it's Dice) secured them a spot in the upcoming DRB. Whew! Ain't that lucky? Gentarou wants to know more about this "luck", but that's not important right now - what's important is FP winning the DRB and RUBBING Party NOSES in their VICTORY. #hypspoiler

Gentarou comments on how Dice was actually useful for once, and when Dice goes to hit him for the backhanded compliment, Ramuda leaps to his feet and cheers. They're right. It's time to go out there and WIN THIS THING! #hypspoiler

Then, Ramuda says, if there's no reason for him to stay alive, then fuck it. Why not make one? Gentarou and Dice, always down to bullshit, agree. Then all three scramble up and dash back to Shibuya. Watch out, world - here comes the strongest, coolest Posse ever! #hypspoiler

Later that evening, Doppo lets Jakurai into his apartment where Hifumi is making tea. The three friends say hello cheerfully enough, but as Jakurai sits down at the kitchen table, he looks troubled. Hifumi notices but chooses not to comment on it. #hypspoiler

After exchanging more polite pleasantries, Doppo and Jakurai begin to chat while Hifumi putters away in the kitchen. Does Doppo know a Dr. Yamabushi at the Shinjuku Central Hospital? Yes. His company installed something for Dr. Yamabushi the other day, in fact. #hypspoiler

Jakurai says Dr. Yamabushi mentioned him. Doppo wilts. Oh no. What'd he screw up now? Jakurai laughs and says it's not a complaint. He was impressed at the strength of Doppo's explanations and his professional attitude after installation. #hypspoiler

Doppo blushes and can barely believe his ears. Hifumi comes around with the tea, congratulates him, and says, "See? I told you it doesn't pay to be so negative all the time!" Jakurai chimes in, saying Doppo should be kinder in his self-talk.
D: Ah ha... I'll try.

Apparently Jakurai came by to talk about something, and Hifumi asks what this is. Jakurai looks concerned and then slides a letter from Chuuouku onto the table. It's an invite to the next DRB. Hifumi and Doppo aren't super enthusiastic about this. #hypspoiler

Jakurai asks what's wrong, and Hifumi says that he's concerned for Jakurai, actually. He seems upset. Jakurai tries to laugh it off and then compliments Hifumi on his ability to be so considerate towards other people. But it's like what Jakurai said earlier. #hypspoiler

They're a team! And that means they can talk about anything! Jakurai eventually gives in to Doppo and Hifumi's coaxing and poses a question. If either of them had a loved one in danger, but rescuing them would endanger many other people, what would they do? #hypspoiler

It's a tough question. Hifumi says he'd probably choose his loved one, and Doppo says the same thing. If Hifumi, Jakurai, his parents, or his little brother were in danger, he'd do anything to save them. Jakurai isn't sure what to make of this. #hypspoiler

Hifumi and Doppo exchange looks.
H: But y'see, Doc, I bet you can find a way to save both! If anyone can, it'd be you.
D: Yeah. You've turned around all kinds of ridiculously messed up situations for my sake, so I think you can make this work.

Jakurai looks down at his clenched hands and confesses, "I am not as great a person as you think I am."

H: Sure, you may think so. But see, when the people around you think you're Superman, that means you already are!
He remembers Jakurai at the DRB, Jakurai and Shishikai, Jakurai and the stalker... and Doppo, age 22, standing up for Hifumi when no one else would. #hypspoiler

Jakurai smiles, an actual genuine smile this time, and says he's glad he chose to talk to them. Later, on the way home, he considers what it means to be a Superman. What are these past mistakes weighing him down? Yotsutsuji, Hitoya... Ramuda... #hypspoiler

He needs to end these conflicts at once.

The next day at work, two of Doppo's coworkers come stop by his desk to chat. People have been saying good things about Doppo lately! Eh, it's just a fluke, says Doppo. Besides, he'll only end up in trouble again later. #hypspoiler

They tell him he should have some more confidence in himself, but their pep talk is interrupted by the balding manager STOMPING over and - pausing for dramatic effect in front of Doppo's desk. His glasses gleam. He strikes a pose. Doppo! Is! FIRED! #hypspoiler

Doppo and his shocked colleagues go white. That's right, the manage chuckles. It's curtains for old Doppo, oh yes it is. Now! He is to gather this things and leave the premise AT! ONCE! Doppo grabs the manager and begs to know WHAT he's being fired for. #hypspoiler

M: Dr. Yamabushi from the Shinjuku Central Hospital. Doesn't that tell you all you need to know?
D: ??? No????
The manager lays into him. Apparently Dr. Yamabushi's equipment malfunctioned in a major way, and no one but Doppo could be responsible for it. #hypspoiler

Since the company could be held liable if something were to happen to a patient, it is up to middle management to point fingers (literally) and give Doppo the boot. Doppo protests that he didn't do anything, and his colleagues back him up. Doppo wouldn't do this! #hypspoiler

SILENCE, roars the manager. How dare his workers cover for a stupid, braindead, no-good, bleepity-bleep of a MONSTER! Now back to work! He will waste no more of his PRECIOUS time on this HARDENED. CRIMINAL. #hypspoiler

As the manager storms off, Doppo involuntarily falls to his knees. How in the world did this happen? And what's going to happen to him now?
