Is the Chabad-Lubavitch sect 'extremist'? Or, did I toss ‘disgraceful slurs’ its way, as the Community Security Trust and the Jewish News claim?

🧵

According to the Jewish News I claimed that ‘Russian Chabadniks in 1777 were the original Zionist settlers.’ I did not. As is widely known the Zionist movement originated in the 1880s. One would expect Zionist hacks to know their own history a little better, but no matter.

In fact in 1777 Chabad was 'anti-Zionist', in that it believed in Jewish settlement not a 'Jewish state'. Still - in Hebron in 1929 - Chabadniks allowed the Haganah to store weapons in their buildings. Later, some joined the extreme Stern and Irgun Zionist terror gangs.

The historian Hillel Cohen reports the Hebron Chabad chief Rabbi in 1929 gathered ‘intelligence on Hebron’s Arabs and engaged in covert political activity… with covert Zionist backing ... to undermine the Palestinian national movement’.

Apparently I also made 'disgraceful slurs' about the Chabad-Lubavitch movement. One is allegedly that I claimed ‘Chabad runs a children’s group called the Army Of Hashem’. But, in fact, it does. Here is their website discussing it:

chabad.org/therebbe/artic…

I am also charged with claiming that the Army of Hashem. 'is dedicated to waging war against non-Judaism'. But these are not my words. I was directly quoting the Rebbe, its founder. My source? A rather blood-curdling video posted online by the movement:

My alleged second ‘slur’ was that I described the Chabad movement as ‘extremist’. Is Chabad extremist? Here are four facts of many that could be chosen.

For an overview see David Sheen's lecture here: (archive.org/details/5b0bac… )

First, according to the Israeli spy agency, Shin Bet, Chabadniks are involved in most price-tag revenge attacks on Palestinians. That seems a bit extreme. No?

Second, Haaretz, reports the Chabad ‘Kings Torah’ justifies killing, even of Palestinian babies, since ‘it is clear that they will grow to harm us... Anywhere... the presence of a gentile poses a threat to Israel, it is permissible to kill him' Sounds a bit extreme doesn’t it?

Third, Chabadniks in the US and in Ukraine appear to be deeply involved with Ukrainian oligarchs like Kolomoisky in his deeply corrupt asset stripping and fraud activities. Some might say that was extreme? The latest is here: miamiherald.com/news/local/com…

Fourth, that’s even before we remind ourselves that Igor Kolomoisky not only funded the election campaign of Zelensky, but also bankrolled the Nazi Azov and Aidar militias. A bit extreme?

The CST says it gave Chabad ‘security’ training in response to my comments. But the CST's own charitable objectives include ‘research’ and ‘public education’ about ‘extremism’. They ought to be targetting 'extremists' like Chabad, not defending them.

It seems unlikely that the CST will ‘educate’ us about the extremists at Chabad though. That's because CST boss, the convicted fraudster Gerald Ronson, has channelled tens of thousand of £’s to Chabad in the UK through his family foundation. powerbase.info/index.php/Gera…

For those not familiar with the deceptive ways of the CST, which exists to run point for the State of Israel, here is a thread I prepared earlier:
