Is this being forced by PMO on Military and what are its pitfalls.. Certain lobbies controlling political power in this country do not like backward villagers and soldiers shouting 'Sada Hak Aithe Rakh' so whole idea is to steam them out by making them corporate dependent..

Some people also feel it will help them more in so called strategy of Coup Fencing of Army.. In addition it provides cheap trained manpower for corporate security and cuts cost.. But if compared with such man power joining CAPF.. Then cost is still more..

What are the pitfalls. 1. Such soldiers will form their unions which will now be permissible by law. 2. Will join foriegn armies and private militia group 3. Will join criminal and mafia groups. 4..will join so many private militias like RSS...

5. It will increase more social disorder, unrest and crimes in society 6. Such groups will easy targets of enemy countries and countries who want fuel unrest... In my views Modi and Generals must consult Sociologists and Criminologists before taking any decision...

War in Ukraine clearly shows that performance of such soldiers is horrific.. Let us also not forget how Pindaris rose in India? How Turkish empire collapsed when they dismantled their regimentation system..

There are enough studies to show that what % youth of agressive societies must be kept as soldiers and sports persons so as to keep them calm.. You can not ignore such studies..

Once a close childhood friend of ULFA military Cdr Paresh Baruah told me... If India raises Moran, Ahom and Bodo regiments... Insurgency will disappear in Assam in just fea years why? Because youths with agressive attitude will find productive work..

So to keep certain aggressive sociaties calm, you have to bear such burdens.. There is no other choice... This scheme will hit certain rural societies like Sikhs, Jats, Rajputs, Marathas, Gurjars very hard. It will also reduce cash inflow in rural economy due to fall in income
