⭕️ Transgender youth
🏥 The executive order asks federal health and education departments to expand access to gender-affirming medical care.
📄 It also calls on them to counter a flurry of bills passed this year which ban treatments for trans youth.
⭕️ Conversion therapy
🚫 Biden ordered federal agencies to ensure federally funded programs do not offer conversion therapy.
💵 The @FTC was asked to police such practices as "deceptive businesses".
💰 $650m is spent on conversion therapy annually, according to @TrevorProject.

👦 The measures encourage the placement of LGBTQ+ children in foster homes which support their sexual orientation.
🏠 A new group on LGBTQ+ homelessness will be set up to address existing barriers to housing.

👵 Biden also ordered the @HHSGov to publish a Bill of Rights for LGBTQI+ Older Adult to address high rates of discrimination, isolation and poverty.
🏥 New guidance for non-discrimination in long-term care facilities will also be issued.
