Izuku shuts the apartment door as he stumbles in from his shift, walking over to the couch and immediately face planting onto it. Katsuki looks down into his lap at the head full of green messy hair.
“Rough day nerd?”

Izuku responds with some unintelligible mumble, muffled by his legs.
Katsuki chuckles “cancelling tonight?”
Izuku jerks up “noooo, I only want to go for an hour anyways. You’ve been home all day so stop pouting. We don’t go out with the squads altogether very often”

Katsuki sighs but gives a little smile, smacking Izuku on the ass when he stands
“Hey!!” Leaning down he gives the blonde a soft kiss then smiles excitedly “I’m going to get ready!!”

Two hours later they’re out at a karaoke bar with most of their former classmates. Drinking, singing and generally having fun. Katsuki looks down at the time on his phone, they’ve been out for 1hr 11 minutes. Time to enact his plan to escape.

“Ah dang” he exclaims loudly in front of Izuku and their friends “I gotta go, need to take something over for the hag before she heads to bed”
Izuku pouts “aww”
Kirishima yells “noooo bakubroo! Hey mido you can stay, he doesn’t need you to go right?”

Katsuki thinks back to Izuku’s pout “it’s ok he doesn’t need to come, have fun nerd”
But the second he looks at Izuku he knows this was a mistake. The darkened look in his usually sparkling green eyes hints violence.
“Oh Kacchan just lemme talk to you for a sec”

The pair move over to the side, the blonde gulps
“You seen that old prequirk movie Titanic Kacchan?”
“Yeah”
“You remember that bit where rose takes up that whole door or whatever and let’s Jack freeze and die.”

The blonde gulps again “yeah”
“That’s what you just did to me”
“…”
“Leaving this night out at the perfect time and cutting me out of excuse that I could’ve latched onto”
“But the pout! I thought-“
“You’re dead to me now”
…
Katsuki watches Izuku walk back to their friends and instantly puts his phone to his ear “alright!! Alright hag I’ll bring Deku!! He was having a great time but it’s fine I’ll talk to him” he shouts dramatically, walking towards everyone.

“Sorry guys” the blonde theatrically sighs “Izuku the hag needs you too, I tried to argue”
Izuku pulls out the pout again, leans over and starts handing out hugs “sorry guys a hero’s job is never done”
The pair walk out of the bar, Izuku looping in his arm with a smirk.

When they get home, Izuku nuzzles Katsuki’s cheek as the cuddle up on the couch
“So I’m not dead to you anymore?”
Izuku hands out kisses like they’re going out of fashion “thanks for sharing the exit excuse life raft with me”
Katsuki rolls his eyes “dumbass”
