💪 Cool things you can do with Authz on #Cosmos, a thread:

1. Authorize a validator to #REStake your delegation rewards, a.k.a. auto-compounding. No more daily manual claiming and delegating.

@eco_stake built a great implementation here: restake.app

2. Authorize a hot wallet to vote on your behalf. Don't want to take out your ledger or cold storage wallet? Just authorize once and use a throwaway account to vote on governance proposals.

@interchain_io is currently working with @strangelovefund to build a UI for this.

3. Authorize an individual to perform administrative tasks on a #multisig like staking, voting, spending small amounts of tokens, etc. No more begging for signatures on Telegram to get that claim Tx approved.

Also working on a UI for that with Sam Panter and @confio_tech :)

4. Give someone access to spend a specified amount of tokens, which can automatically renew if you'd like. Easy way to give someone a stipend basically, except that if they don't spend the full amount, you get to keep the tokens 👍

5. So yeah, literally any transaction you can do on a #CosmosSDK chain you can authorize an address to do on your behalf. It's flexible AF, and the possibilities are truly endless 💫

6. You can do all of this without giving away your keys 👀
The accounts you authorize can only perform exactly those actions you authorize them to do, and nothing else. Plus, you're able to revoke the authorizations at any time.
