#WashburnFire (Yosemite NP) - 2,340 acres & 25% contained per @YosemiteFire. A community meeting will happen tonight @ 7pm, at the Community Center of Oakhurst, 39800 Fresno Flats Rd in Oakhurst. Also will be streamed on their Facebook @ facebook.com/YosemiteFire/

#WashburnFire (Yosemite NP) - Division M reporting multiple spot fires across Hwy 41 (western side of the fire). Most active spot is 50x50ft, pulling additional resources from other divisions for this.

#WashburnFire (Yosemite NP) - FIRIS mapped the fire around 2,720 acres ~45 mins ago. Fire activity also increasing on the eastern side of the fire & it will bump the retardant lines (may be the ones running east-west from Wawona Point), ordering an Air Attack back to the fire.

#WashburnFire (Yosemite NP) - There is now also a spot fire across the South Fork of the Merced River @ 37 32.34 -119 36.75, pictured below (about 450ft across) & a new spot @ 37 31.94, -119 37.73 in Div R, no sizes given. Air Attack is back overhead & requesting a lead plane.

#WashburnFire (Yosemite NP) - Air Attack requested 2 large air tankers back to the fire: T01 & T137 + now ordering 1 VLAT. They are doubling up retardant lines & possibly extending them further east on the ridge east of Wawona Point (same as yesterday).

#WashburnFire (Yosemite NP) - Doubled up the request to a total of 4 large air tankers & 2 VLATs.

#WashburnFire (Yosemite NP) - The two spot fires across the river in Division T have line around them at 10x10ft & 1/10th of an acre per radio traffic. Also per @TrishasWCFireWx the ~10 spots across Hwy 41 in Div M have hose/line around them, largest being 1/2 of an acre.

#WashburnFire (Yosemite NP) - Copter being requested back to Division M along Hwy 41 for a new spot fire below the previous spot fires. Now sending 2 water dropping copters + a HelCo for this division.

#WashburnFire (Yosemite NP) - 22% contained (slight drop). FIRIS mapped the fire @ 3,247 acres ~45 minutes ago. No real surprises on where the growth has been (growth reflected between the red & cyan perimeter lines, bit ugly I know). Better mapping avail later.

#WashburnFire (Yosemite NP) - 11pm mapping: similar acreage so just some 3D views. Briefing mentioned firing ops off the trails S/O Wawona (1) + Hwy 41 w/ spot across (2). East side: fire made it to the rocks, several spots (3). Nothing significant detected across river (4).
