• "Happy Birthday, My Love"

Katsuki was determined to make Izuku's birthday absolutely perfect. After not celebrating his boyfriend's birthday for many years, he needed to make up what he could.

So, from the first day of Izuku and Katsuki dating, he bought everything Izuku liked.

He bought new All-Might figurines whenever they came out, any merchandise that came out of 1-A or pros, his favorite candies and snacks, his favorite flowers, everything and more.

Two weeks before Izuku's 18th birthday, Katsuki wrote the cheesiest, most "in-love" letter he could even muster, and made a sweet scrapbook of every photo of the couple. He wrote little notes on polaroids, shoved more letters in the binding, and covered it in stickers.

Before the war in his first year, Katsuki had already decided he would apologize to Izuku for, well, everything. He knew he needed to, but he also wanted to get Izuku something. Katsuki knew he wouldn't give Izuku the gift immediately, but he still got it made.

He constantly told himself that he would work for the opportunity to give Izuku his gift, but it wouldn't be shortly after the apology. Katsuki told himself that he needed to work for it. He wanted to show Izuku that he was sorry before shoving gifts down his throat.

When the nerd's birthday finally arrived, Katsuki sent him a text at midnight paired with a shit ton of hearts. It was a paragraph of him appreciating Izuku, and he tweeted in celebration of his boyfriend's birthday. He fell asleep shortly after.

When Katsuki woke up, he checked his phone right away to see a text from Izuku.

My boy 💚: awww kacchan! 🥺😭 thank you!! i love you so so so much 💚🧡

Katsuki sighed and smiled, before responding back.

kat: no problem, nerd. i love you too. now get to my dorm. i have gifts.

It didn't take long before there were knocks on Katsuki's door. The blonde got up from his bed, and looked at the gifts he had placed on the soft comforter moments before. He smirked, and turned around. He walked towards the door, and opened it, revealing a happy greenette.

"Kacchan!!" Scarred arms wrapped around Katsuki's neck as Izuku giggled. Katsuki laughed, and lifted the boy, only coaxing more giggles. The blonde peppered Izuku's fave with kisses and pulled away.

"Happy birthday, nerd."

Izuku kissed his nose then, "Thank you, honey."

Katsuki snorted and let Izuku wrap his legs around his small waist. Katsuki held onto Izuku, making sure he wouldn't fall, then closed the door and headed to his bed.

He set Izuku down, and moved to comfortably sit next to him. He wrapped an arm around the boy's middle, and kissed his cheek, earning the symphonic sounds of laughter.

Although he originally had planned on waiting to give Izuku his presents throughout the day, he ended up giving all 59 presents in that one moment. The greenette was spoiled beyond words, but he wasn't complaining. He truly hadn't felt more loved in his life.

"I, uhm, I have one more gift." Nerves suddenly washed over Katsuki as he started fidgeting with his hands. Izuku tilted his head to the side, only making him cuter in his oversized Dynamight hoodie.

"Really?" Katsuki nodded, and stood up.

He moved to the other side of his bed, and pulled a small box out of a drawer. He walked back over to Izuku, and lifted the top.

Inside was a silver ring with an emerald and a fire opal on top. Tiny words were engraved on the inside that read, "The Wonder Duo sticks together and kicks ass!" Tears flooded Izuku's eyes as he remembered those words from his childhood.

Katsuki had said those to Izuku before he had gotten his quirk, officially announcing their dreams of becoming the Wonder Duo.

Izuku coveted his mouth, tears flooding down his cheeks.

"Obviously we're a little young to be getting married, but I wanted to do something similar, so I got a promise ring made in, uhm, first year. I want to be with you, forever and always, and kick some ass too... Only if you'll let me."

Izuku sobbed and reached forward. He pulled Katsuki in for a kiss, then pulled away and rested his forehead on the latter's.

"Of course I'll let you, Kacchan.. I would love nothing more than to be glued by your side." Katsuki laughed and slipped the ring on.

Izuku moved away and looked down, giggling at the marvelous sight, "To be completely honest, I thought you forgot about that..."

Katsuki rolled his eyes and pinched Izuku's cheek lightly, "Hell no. I thought about it everyday since I said it, nerd."

Izuku glanced up again, and smiled. He kissed Katsuki again, a longer kiss this time, and grabbed his hands.

"I love you, I love you so much."

Katsuki snorted, then, "I love you so much more. Happy birthday, my love."
