Whenever Cangse Sanren visits Cloud Recesses, everyone gets ready to practice Lan discipline in earnest. Reason? Two ROUMD babies.
A Zhan and A Ying are two small babies who have ZERO interest in adult talks and thus while their parents are being 'prim and proper like a boring adult' these two babies just sit and be cute. 🥰🥰
You could be a disciple going about your duty and suddenly you will find two round cheek babies puffing their cheeks and rubbing them together on a stair.
Or you could be a serving person, carrying around a pail og water when you spot two sources of cuteness.
BabyJi and BabyXian, looking at two birdies as they fluff their feathers and kiss eachother, then landing a LOUD sloppy kiss on each other's cheek. Not before puffing their cheeks to MAX.
Sometimes an older disciples or a female disciple happens by them whent he babies (mostly BabyXian) is trying to trick BabyJi into puffing his cheeks and then bursting them with a SOLID kiss.
And IF you find the babies watching bunnies, or any small animal— I pray for your heart.
The sight is just too much for even the iciest Lan elders who all pretend to be indifferent about it in public but as soon as they are in private, INCOHERENT SCREECHING MODE ON!
Age and gender are just standing on the sideliens then.

You may ask, does nobody tries to pick them up? To smooch them or hug them? Surely they will try?

Don't get me wrong, they love their babies and would rain wrath on anyone who hurt their precious bundles but Lan Qiren and Cangse Sanren are TOO dramatic.
