Liger project got sidetracked; been busy this week. It’s just as well as there’s a lot of kit to work on (there’s actually a divider in the box).
Still test fitting, but I think I have to paint and assemble parts by section to get it done. #ゾイド #プラモ #zoids #plamo

After several weeks off the project, found time today to lay down some primer and a basecoat for the blue parts. #ゾイド #プラモ #zoids #plamo
I know it’s been a while, but I managed to get back to work on the Liger. Painted the remaining pieces of the head assembly.
Ended up with what I think of as “Intenso Blue” (Cobalt Blue over a Sky Blue undercoat). #ゾイド #プラモ #zoids #plamo
Three months later (because life), we’re done with the Liger’s head.
Now I’ve got an extra bit of motivation to finish the kit.
Of course, if that doesn’t happen I could always mount this somewhere… #ゾイド #プラモ #zoids #plamo
Moved on to body assembly (snap fit). I believe this is the rear third.

Done with the snap fit for the torso and Zoid core chamber. Have to break this down into blocks to paint it efficiently. Lots of opportunity to add details, too.

The casing for the Liger’s booster packs have an unfortunate seamline that I’m gonna try to erase.
Kinda tricky as they assemble around the thrusters underneath, which I’ve already painted (hence the extreme masking). #ゾイド #プラモ #zoids #plamo
Seam removal was…not successful (mainly because I ran out of putty). But it’s not too bad. I’ll take the L. #ゾイド #プラモ #zoids #plamo
