i haven't participated in an event yet so....

DAY 1: mornings :)

Bright sunrays snuck through the closed curtains and placed spotlights on numerous areas on the carpeted floor and bed. The muffled sounds of cars honking and shouting came from the streets below, not bothering the sleeping men.

The newest member of the Bakugou family, a small brown pomeranian named Dyna, slept soundly between Katsuki and Izuku. She twitched in her sleep, dreaming about eating a dozen dog treats with puppy friends she met at the dog park.

Birds chirped noisily outside, their presence closer to the window than anyone would have liked. Dyna shifted awake, and sat up, peaking towards the window. The chirping continued, and she responded by barking.

Her high-pitched bark immediately woke Katsuki, who rolled over onto his back and pushed himself upwards. He watched as she noticed him, and started laughing as she jumped on his chest and started attacking his face with licks.

The chirping grew louder, once again capturing Dyna's attention. She leapt off Katsuki, and ran towards the window, resuming her barking. Katsuki chuckled, then shifted his focus.

Beside him, still laying so quietly, was Izuku. He was sleeping on his stomach with his head turned towards Katsuki. His hands were under his head, and his elbows stuck out. His messy curls fell over his face and onto the pillow.

Katsuki brushed away the strands, and peaked at the pale skin and gorgeous freckles that adorned it. He smiled as he observed the calm expression and relaxed posture his husband had as he slept.

The blonde leaned down and kissed Izuku's forehead, completely forgetting and dismissing the still barking dog. Izuku hummed at the contact, and a sleepy smile began forming.

His captivating emerald eyes fluttered open, only going until they were half-lidded. He looked at his love, the sleepy smile growing a little wider. Katsuki laid back down and threw one arm over Izuku's waist.

"Good morning, love," Katsuki whispered. His voice was soft and groggy, and Izuku loved it all the same. He moved over to be closer to Katsuki. He laid on his side, and wrapped his arms around the latter's waist.

"Good morning, honey," Izuku hummed again.

His voice was smooth and enchanting, and it never failed to make Katsuki smile and blush lightly. Katsuki cupped Izuku's cheek, and brushed his thumb against it.

"How did you sleep?" Katsuki kissed Izuku's forehead once more, then pressed his forehead against the other's.

Izuku smiled and answered, "Just fine, thanks to you." Katsuki chuckled and kissed Izuku on the lips this time.

Izuku kissed back immediately, moving his arms to fall on Katsuki's shoulders. Katsuki moved both his hands to hold Izuku's waist, pulling the boy closer.

When they pulled away, Izuku's eyes were a little wider now. His smile was less sleepy now and more content. They pressed their foreheads against the other's again, both sighing at the company of the other.

The calmness of the room didn't last much longer as Dyna had realized both of her owners were now awake. She jumped back on the bed, and attacked Izuku with licks and jumps. Izuku was giggling as he rolled over on his back.

Katsuki sat up again, and quickly grabbed his phone. He began recording the adorable moment, smiling and laughing as Izuku did. Then, Dyna turned her attention towards Katsuki, and started licking him too.

Sure, they may live in a tiny apartment and they may be busy the majority of the time, but with moments like these? /Everything/ was perfect.

The chirping from outside. The shouts from people below. The honking and humming of cars. The high barks and busy schedules. It was all okay and it was all perfect. Why? Because Katsuki had Izuku and Izuku had Katsuki.
