/ Retweet if you have used any one of those. Well they have been tested for Titanium Dioxide (TiO2). TiO2 is a group 2B carcinogenic. The best (lowest contamination) has more than 5 times the acceptable limit. Ohh and by the way, you are forcing your kid to breathing through it.
/ For the "fact checkers" out there. This is the publication that found this. This guys are clearly pro-mask but they are screaming to have a proper regulatory control, because they understand what does mean. You are liable!!! nature.com/articles/s4159…
/ And just for completeness. This is the IARC (WHO agency) classifying TiO2 as a group 2B carcinogenic. publications.iarc.fr/_publications/…
/ And here is the supplementary information where that photo comes from along with other interesting information (that always end up hidden there to avoid people to read it). static-content.springer.com/esm/art%3A10.1…
/ Sorry if I am being blunt. When your manufacturing process does not have regulatory control over a inhalation suspected carcinogenic, there is really no point in even discussing if they work or not. And that is how I defeated mask mandates here.
/ Political problems are only solved through political solutions. The solution: Scare the hell out of the politicians... on the first legal document served THEY KNOW that from there on, they are liable. Their skin is in the game.
/ Who wants to mandate? The government, serve the health minister with the notification of this finding. FOIA them for the regulatory body (shhh don't tell, 99.9999% probability it does not exists). The school board? Serve them. Your employer? Serve the insurance company.
/ SERVE THEM ALL!!!
/ In fact, I am not a US citizen; but if I were I would be serving these guys..
/ Thanks @BrendanEich for the link. TiO2 (at least in Europe) is no longer considered safe in edibles.

Let's say this doesnt strenghten the safety case.
/ Interesting question. While I have touched before on it, I explain a little bit more
/ Since some of the comments show that you are not acquanted to understanding scientific literature, if you read the studies (and when you do) keep this in mind during the process. Asking yourself that at the end of each paragraph/section makes wonders.
/
/ A few organizations that classify Titanium Dioxide as a hazardous substance [not only by inhalation].
/ Some may not know it, but that's how I defeated the Ciudad de Buenos Aires mask mandates. After killing the schools mandates I initiated a FOIA to the minister of health. They tried to dodge saying they told me that they were not the ones that should have do that (ANMAT is).
/ So after that I went full metal jacket in preparation for the lawsuit. I wanted to extinguish all the administrative and leave the paper trail that they were notified about this. That ends up on this particular document. docs.google.com/document/d/1ls…
/ The aim wasn't anything else than force them to acknowledge that there is no regulatory body, and if it exist they didn't have it. That was the key, and I even told the minister lawyer what would happen on a phone call.
/ Long story short, before they respond to that legal document [2 weeks], the mask mandates were gone. My guess of why. Because they didn't want to end up on a high profile lawsuit when they were already hearing about increased cancers at the population levels.
/ The key is creating the paper trail when they are not expecting it and after you have everything in your hand tell them what you are going to do. But you need to be willing to go full metal jacket on them.
I was ready, and they knew it.
/ And that works on other places too. This was a hospital. It took me some time for them to acknowledge the reception, but when they did a few weeks later they were gone for the patients and not long after for the personnel too. docs.google.com/document/d/1Ln…
