Indian cricketer #ArshdeepSingh dropped a catch in the final moments of #IndVsPak

Soon Pakistani ISI bots & SFJ stooges started targeting #Arshdeep calling him #Khalistani
Similar propaganda was run by Pakistanis against Mohammad Shami during the T20 World cup.
A Thread 👇

When India lost to Pakistan in T20 world cup Pakistan deliberately targeted Indian player Mohammed Shami so as to fuel their narrative that Shami was targeted because of his religion

This info war to target Shami was started by Pakistan Strategic Forum & its followers.

Similarly, this time Arshadeep Singh was targeted again because of his religion so that it can be used for ISI’s narrative.

Most of the handles calling Arshadeep Khalistani are from Pakistan pretending as Indian just like the Shami saga.

In both the case, the initial trolling was highlighted by leftist lobby accusing the RW of making communal attack on Indian players.

@zoo_bear @RanaAyyub @BDUTT are some usual suspects

But this time these ISI agents exposed themselves while updating the Wikipedia page of Arshdeep Singh which was edited & Khalistan term was added deliberately.

On analysis, the source of editing was found to be from Pakistan
Here are the IP details of editor

On further analysis, it was found that the hashtag #Khalistani mainly emerged from three locations, namely:

1. 30.5% from Pakistan
2. 26.8% from USA
3. 22.8% from India

Take a look at some of these hashtags which were used along with #Khalistan. They are completely out of topic owing to generic Khalistani-related tweets by Khalistan outfits and influencers.

We could also find that early influencers were NOT from India but from USA & Pakistan.

Some tweets from USA & Pak:
"This Arshdeep dude has to support Khalistan movement now can’t go back to India after this"
"The message is clear from Arshdeep Singh: KHALISTAN FOREVER!"

Now IT Ministry has summoned Wikipedia executives in India for an explanation on how someone can edit their page to say that the young cricketer is associated with ‘Khalistanis’.

An official note from Wikipedia will surely expose Pakistan's hand behind this campaign.

This campaign was just another misadventure of ISI & SFJ to create tension in India.

Unfortunately just like Shami case, again a few people fell into the trap
We need to be more vigilant to prevent Pakistan from disturbing our communal harmony.
