Freeways are clear as #HurricaneIan pushes through Orlando. A FLASH FLOOD ⚠️ WARNING just came across my phone.
I will be LIVE soon on @WESH where we are closing in on 50 consecutive hours of nonstop #Ian coverage.
Yes, that is a working street light that has just been punished by #HurricanIan overnight in Downtown Orlando.
South Orange Avenue, just before @orlandohealth… FLOODED in South Downtown vehicles are being turned around.
Even the warning tape is beneath water.
DO NOT DO THIS.
Despite this peel-off, this truck ALMOST got stuck. I’m sure they were worried a bit there.
Turn around. Don’t drown.
Forget your pride. Let the flood subside.

Ambulance almost drives into large ponding on South Orange.
I really try not to offer my own opinion on news matters. But I suggest there should be something alerting drivers of this ponding beside the tape drivers will only see as they reach the edge of the water.
Two women in labor have pulled up to me asking to help getting to the hospital. They almost zipped into the water.
Hopefully this map serves as a quick resource to people on the fly.
