Thanks to public support and public protection, political prisoner Ablaykhan Bekeyev was changed from arrest in a pre-trial detention center, where he was held for 9 months, to an obligation to appear in court. We thank everyone for the support of Ablaykhan.

Ablaykhan #Bekeyev's mother has a serious health condition. He also has a wife with a minor daughter, a younger (minor sister) and older sister with three minor children. Ablaykhan does not admit guilt, as he came to a peaceful protest.

The authorities did not conduct an objective and transparent investigation into either this case or the case of torture against Ablaykhan Bekeyev.
