Here's an overview of the #Giro d'Italia 2023 route. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ’•

Stage 1 to 4 are a solid start: a 18.3 KM ITT, a versatile & a pure sprint stage and a typical first uphill test. โคต๏ธ

Stage 5-8 continue with opportunities for sprinters, combined with the first mountain-top finish, Campo Imperatore on Stage 7. ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Day for the puncheurs or breakaway on Stage 8. โคต๏ธ

@giroditalia Stage 9-12 continues with another flat ITT of 33.6 KM. โฑ๏ธ

At first glance, Stage 10 & 12 could either be breakaway or versatile sprint stages. Stage 11 is a pretty clear sprint though. โคต๏ธ

Stage 13-16? 2 x 5-star stage! ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ

Crans-Montana on Stage 13, Monte Bondone on Stage 16 are going to be decisive mountain stages in the #Giro. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Stage 15 looks like a generic breakaway stage. โคต๏ธ

Stage 18 to 20 is where the #Giro will be decided! ๐Ÿ’ฅ

I'll be sleeping until the last 5 KMs on Stage 17. ๐Ÿ˜ด

I sincerely hope the Tre Cime di Lavaredo stage has no weather-related climb cancelations. ๐Ÿ™
