Stage 1 to 4 are a solid start: a 18.3 KM ITT, a versatile & a pure sprint stage and a typical first uphill test. ⤵️ Stage 5-8 continue with opportunities for sprinters, combined with the first mountain-top finish, Campo Imperatore on Stage 7. 💥

Approaching 2021, AG2R stepped away from the Bardet-centered approach, and invested in O'Connor and a stronger classics squad. 💸

Turns out one of those investments had great ROI. O'Connor delivered a better TDF GC result than Bardet's previous 3 years, 4th. 👏 Image
